AK Movers

Review: We hired AK Movers to move our furniture to our new home in [redacted], VA. When the movers arrived, they significantly damaged our furniture with each piece of furniture that was moved out of our prior location and into our new home. Previously unmarked furniture became damaged. Each leg of our sofa that was recently purchased was significantly scratched, as well as damaged on the fabric. Wrapping was purchased for each piece of furniture that was later damaged. Pictures were submitted to the "Claims Department" per the AK Movers contract. No attempt was made by the company to repair the damages. I called to follow up with **. [redacted] and he was extremely difficult to discuss our claim with, and replied that I should "stop calling him". I am filing this claim simply to be reimbursed for damages made.Desired Settlement: Repair of damages to the sofa and desk, or monetary compensation of $200 to repair damages.
