After many years of disappointing experiences with many beauty salons, I have finally found the perfect place for me The moment I walked in AKA, I felt at home The decor is very inviting and the people are amazingly friendly *** Andrea, immediately made me feel welcomed I told her that I needed a drastic change, but frankly I was scared of change However, Andrea made me feel so comfortable that I immediately trusted her She knew exactly what color and cut I needed and I came out of the Salon looking years youngerI have never felt so comfortable in a beauty salon The environment, the people, the positive energies in this Salon is absolutely amazing I truly felt like a very special person
I started coming to AKA Beauty Concepts about 2 1/2 years ago. I was treated with kindness the minute I walked in the door. I am undergoing a lot of health issues and Andrea and her team have always made me feel beautiful and pampered. I now also bring my husband and two young children for haircuts as we are all treated wonderfully. From my hubby's head shave, my five year old's curly mop, my toddler's difficulty sitting still, their entire team spends their time and effort making our experience perfect. I have had my best friend come for her wedding style and good friend get ready for her cancer treatment. I must especially mention that when an older customer enters they are treated with such kindness and respect so they are comfortable the entire time.
I love coming to AKA BEAUTY CONCEPTS and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. The environment is spa like yet the prices are family friendly, a mix you rarely see in Ottawa.

I cannot say enough good about AKA Beauty Concepts on St. Joseph Boulevard in Orleans (Ottawa), Ontario. Unbelievably amazing service. VERY personable. THE best haircut my daughter has ever had! And easily the best prices I've seen.
By the time I left, I felt like I was leaving a family members home. And that says volumes.
I'm a guy. I don't get excited with hair - ever. But my daughter is delighted! Which makes daddy delighted.
