I am rejecting this response because:We were not aware of any interference nor was it ever communicated to the association or it's representative before this response. The included email thread makes no mention of interference (when we were told after the payments were made that we would be getting a reduced level of service for the remainder of the contract). It simply says that they feel it is not required that they have staff on site each day for the last week. B*** also states that workers would be on site all day Thursday, but the shed was empty and they were all gone by noon. The bottom line is that everything was paid in full even before the work was completed with the understanding that the service level would not be reduced.Email thread:

I trusted that with you being paid for the month of July, even before the month is complete, you would still fulfill the contract as promised. It is not ok to, without warning, stop doing work that was already fully paid for. I believe we are owed money back for the days that will not be staffed. If you are saying that the property only needs two days of maintenance per week, then it would appear that we have been overpaying for many years.Steve

reply to complaint [redacted]:   "Akahi served this client well and faithfully for over 14 years.  The grounds remained in good condition and well tended the last week of service.  Client had not paid for prior services rendered and Akahi had been reluctantly on stand down, as explicitly allowed in our contractual agreement, until paid. Upon receipt of catch up payments, work schedule restarted. Client's agent was then found to be interfering in relations between Akahi and its employees, in disregard of explicit terms of our agreement, necessitating our documenting the interference and the brief relocation of one of the employees on short notice. Subsequent events, also documented, proved our brief relocation action to have been warranted. Clients' grounds, the object of our work, remained in good care and condition. The scheduling disagreement arose directly from actions by the client beyond our control."   With respect,   [redacted] VP, RME, Certified Arborist   Akahi Services, Inc. [redacted]
