I sent money ($500) over via Zelle for a bulldog puppy, and communications ceased. The name given was not the name on the website. They asked for cash only or American Express gift cards. I believe this was a puppy scam website. I asked for a refund for personal reasons and I got no response. I called my bank and made them aware of this scam and began a claim.
