I did receive an email confirming the expenditure, but it was not a receipt. My insurance company does not accept cancelled checks as proof of the transaction. A detailed receipt on company letterhead is needed

The business said a receipt was emailed to the customer. It was not given to him at the time because he stated he could use a cancelled check.

Review: Used AKM Towing service on 6/8/2014. Did not get a receipt roadside. Have attempted 3 times to get a receipt mailed or emailed to me so I can submit to my insurance company. Each attempt met with much resistance and I still do not have a receipt. This is imparative as my insurance will not reimburse without a receipt from towing company. I just do not understand why it is so difficult to issue a receipt once paymnet is received - my check with them has already cleared. I am guessing the customer service ends once they have my money.Desired Settlement: I need a receipt for the amount of the tow ($160.00) so I can submit to my insurance company

He can come to the shop at 5 o'clock and the secretary will provide him a check and a refund. if it is after five he will need to call [redacted] and someone will come to the shop to make sure this is taken care of and they do not have to deal with this again.
