We have been using this Al Phillips location for about years for both dry cleaning and laundering For the most part they have done good work In the past when they did not clean an item properly and it was brought to their attention, they fixed it
Two weeks ago I brought in two custom-made dress shirts, both with contrasting white collar and French cuffs When I went to pick them up, the cuffs and collars were a dirty blue color The attendant said she had no idea what had happened, but would send them back for proper cleaning Two days later, I went to pick them up and the manager Darlene was there They were unchanged, still a dirty blue She said she had no idea what happened, and agreed that (as did the attendant) the shirts had white collars and cuffs when I brought them in She said she would send them back again
After not hearing, I called, she said they could not do anything She took information on the costs of the shirts and would speak with her manager

I have spoken with or left messages a Carolyn and Kyleen (both are managers)*** several timesI have not received any sort of resolution or compensationI have been a loyal customer of this location or the *** location for over years

Unbelievably rude experience with VP of Retail Operations after failure to respond to rqsts for her to contact me to resolve issue w damaged shirts
As a nearby resident since 2001, I have been a customer of Al Phillips at *** since the store opened with very little issue ever with their service until now
9/17/I dropped off laundry at this location where shirts of the pieces I left all have all developed what appears to be some sort of processing mark on the very back of each collar in the very same location on the shirts Requested for someone to look into what is causing it and call me back
9/22/- After no contact at all I picked up of the shirts and they still showed the processing damage, but some were noticeably better, but still not wearable Ila was the front reception person that helped me who said said that Elaine (Manager) was supposed to call me back regarding it
9/26/- Eileen the manager finally called me and said she reviewed

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that Al Philips Cleaner's response is riddled with inaccuracies and there has been no genuine effort made to resolve my complaint by Al Philips Cleaner.  I've provided details of my complaint already in my earlier correspondence to Revdex.com.The manager at Al Philips treated me very rudely -- if that is their idea of customer service than it is shocking they are still in business.the tailor provided poor service, and never told me he was going to be out of town. He and the Al Philips staff repeatedly made appointments with me that were missed -- no one ever told me where the tailor was when he missed my appointments. And frankly, it doesn't matter where he was -- if he needed to cancel the appointment for whatever reason, I should have been notified in advance of my scheduled appointment and I should have only been rescheduled at time that he was actually available. This happened 3 times -- there is no excuse for that level of poor communication. I pay for good service. I pay for my clothes to be properly tailored. A good tailor who takes careful measurements should not need to undergo re-work, and in the event that re-work is needed the tailor should do it promptly. What am I paying for if he tailors it incorrectly and I still need to bring it to someone else to have it fit properly? That is exactly what happened here -- I needed to bring my clothes to another tailor to have them done the way they should have been done the first time. Along with my complaint to Revdex.com regarding the poor tailoring service and the horrible customer service by Al Philips, I also posted a customer review on [redacted]. What I posted on [redacted] mirrored my complaint to Revdex.com. That is the purpose of those sites -- to advise other customers on the quality of service being provided. I also disputed the $60 on my credit card for the same reason -- I did not receive the service I paid for and had to pay ANOTHER tailor to perform the same work. I am not paying twice for the same thing. Al Philips should have corrected the issue and given me the service I paid for. I received one phone call from the tailor to my cell phone nearly 2 months after this incident occurring and me bringing my complaint. In his voicemail to me he offered to redo my two items. Of  course, nearly 2 months later, I have already had them taken care of by another tailor who did the work properly and was very kind and helpful. Al Philips & the tailor had over 2 months to respond to me and correct the issue and they failed to do so. The only time they responded was after they saw I took action here with Revdex.com, [redacted] and disputing the charge on my credit card. There are no genuine efforts made to resolve the claim. The only resolution here that would be appropriate and acceptable is to provide a refund of the $60. If they have a genuine intention of refunding me then there is no need for me to go to the store, where they will undoubtedly make me feel uncomfortable and not actually pay me. I will accept the $60 by check or cash, or by them letting my credit card know that they do not dispute my claim and allowing refund back to my card. Please feel free to contact me should you require any additional information.  Thank you,[redacted]
