I purchased a brand new car with zero mileage in March This car that I've purchased has been a total disasterNot only it has embarrassed me, but also has put me in situations where my life was jeopardized, not just mine but also my baby girls' I have been bringing my car in about more than times to get it "fixed" and maybe more! I spoke to a manager in sales perhaps a year ago and he tried to sell me another carI went again, to get all of my paper work , my contract , all of my receipts of when I brought in my car and apparently no one was able to get me any receipts I spent hours waiting!!!! For no responseEvery one was just passing by me and not even asking if I needed somethingThen yesterday as of 12/15/I got on the high way to go visit my family my car ended up stopping in the middle of the road!!!!! Semi truck was so close to hitting meI was so scared for our lives!!! I had to wait a minute and the car back on, there's no sign of nothing wrong of course because the car already has that defective when they DONT ALERT YOU when something is wrongI had enough, so I went to the dealership (al Piemonte ford ) asked to speak to the manager, then the salesman direct me to another man who was obviously not in the mood to talk to anyone(MrDickinson) he asked me what did I need to talk to the Dealerships manager for, and he seemed so aggravated just listening to me so then he just told me to go somewhere (of course I don't know where I'm going) so I spoke to the cashier who was really nice I believe she has the same name as me (Karla) and she called (Todd ***) whom is the manager of the locationTold him over the intercom he has a guest waitingHe didn't answer them again I waited another min and then she called him again and I'm guessing his secretary said he should be down in minWellan hour pass byHe comes to the desk and tells me he's running super late to a " Christmas party" , that he apologizes and he wrote my name down and phone numberHe said he was going to call me at 9:am and he didn'tObviously I don't matter to the company right, but if I was to purchase vehicles then I wouldHorrible experience at Al Piemonte FordAnd obviously they are NOT proffessional'My life or my daughters life does not matter according to Todd ***I purchased a vehicle that is completely dangerousI would hate for something bad to happen when ALL of this could be avoided

There are many reasons why Al Piemonte does not have as good as ratings as other Ford Dealers.
After waiting several years to buy a Ford Taurus. I am disappointed with my experience with this dealer. To make things clear as Chuck (some manager) doesn't want to hear any whining, he just wants short details and rushes you off the phone. Chuck tells me to hurry up with my issue as he has a customer in front of him, they why did you pick the phone when your busy!!! They got the wrong guy handling a customer service call, manager or not.
DO NOT TAKE OWNERSHIP OF A USED OR NEW CAR UNTIL ALL ISSUES ARE FIXED, YOU'LL BE SORRY IF YOU DO.
I test drove a used 2015 Taurus. I made mention to Lanell that there was something wrong with the tires or brakes. He told me they would fix anything that is wrong. (Get it in writing or don't buy the car). Well turns out the tires are [redacted] at 23,000 miles (GoodYear Eagle RSA). I reasearched these tires on the internet, quite a few complaints. Any Taurus buyers, ask for the Michelin tires. Al Piemonte says too bad it's my problem. At a minimum it will cost me $1200.00 to purchase and install new tires, over $1600.00 at Al Piemonte.
DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY WE'LL FIX THAT, GET IT IN WRITING. LANELL [redacted] YOU ARE A LIAR! I KNOW YOU WON'T LOSE ANY SLEEP OVER THE TRUTH.
DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE NEAR CLOSING HOURS, YOU WILL BE RUSHED THROUGH AND MISS FULLY READING YOUR BILL OF SALE AND CREDIT RATE.
My wife and I know we were promised a 4.19% rate and found out it was changed to 4.99%.
They added $600.00 for GAP insurance and never asked me if my own insurance covers that. That was a nice profit for them.
I was told this was a 72 month loan only to find out it was 75 months on my contract. Don't trust anyone. You think they wouldn't do this but they do. I informed Lanell about this and all I get is a sorry and some floor mats, Oh excuse me, Lanell loved to say they're $160.00. To a sucker that is willing to pay that. Get some WeatherTechs.
I recommend you go to a smaller dealer there are a few with a "5.0" or close rating. In Chicago's North side, they are opening a new Fox Ford Dealer. Their South side dealer has almost "5.0" rating, So does Joe [redacted] in Riverside!!!
Al piemonte Ford is a large dealer, therefore they are too busy to take care of every problem. They may sell a lot, but they lost this customer I have two issues to take to their service dept., not anymore. I am going to a place with "5.0" stars. Al Piemonte does not rate "5.0" stars on any review site. That says it all!!!

The work we performed on this customer vehicle had nothing to do with the brake line failure. we performed a Ford recall to the vehicle and...

replaced the fuel tank straps per Ford's recall.
This vehicle has alot of miles and is heavily rusted. the customer is a customer of [redacted] auto who buys parts from our dealership. [redacted] took it apon himself to make the reapir of rusted brake lines to this vehicle. Customer is a customer of [redacted] We have not paid [redacted] anything for this repair as customer stated. We believe that because customer only came to us for a Ford recall and that customer is a customer of [redacted] he offered to help with repair costs. We have to do the Ford Recall for customers. but we are not responsible for the complete vehicle when and after recall has been completed. If we thought for a moment that we were responsible for the line failure we would have teaked care of, however this vehicle will probably have a repeat of the brake line failure due to rust condition. So we feel that we did not cause customers concern, we have not admitted to [redacted] that we are admitting we caused the damage or to the customer. We did not pay [redacted] $125.00. This repair is customers responsibility.
