Review: They have four signs advertising gas prices. The only one really able to be seen by people driving down Rt. 123 East is broken, so the numbers are not properly displayed. Because of this, the prices shown on the sign are incorrect. For instance, right now regular gas is $3.48 there, but on this sign it appears to be $3.43. People pulling in to buy gas would not be aware of the actual price until they are already at the pump, possibly already paying or getting gas, and will be therefore paying at least $.50 more than they thought if they have a 10 gallon tank, or more if they are getting more than 10 gallons.Desired Settlement: I just want them to fix or replace the sign, so that there is not confusion. It's false advertising, and I want it fixed.

Response:

Dear Sir or Madam, the sign under the complaint is a secondary pole flip numbers sign and it looks like sometimes the numbers were flipped down by the wind.A new, more solid, sign was ordered and the old sign is covered meantime.

On July 16th, 2013 I stopped at AL Prime in Manomet Plymouth to get $20 of gas. I went in and paid and went out to pump the gas. I wasn't paying much attention to the gas pump. But I now realize it was NOT pumping out gas. It had stopped at $15, when I had supposedly paid for $20. I looked up at the guy and he waved at me to restart it. At that moment he had just REALLY turned the pump ON. He didn't set it for $5 because it had gone over and I had to go back in and pay 35 cents it had gone over. He was laughing when I had walked in and I thought nothing of it at the time. I remember clearly reading on the register $14.65. No one had gone in after me, it was early morning. I went to start my vehicle and had supposedly got 5 and a half gallons of gas w/ $20. I looked at my gas gage and it was on E w/the light on when I arrived, the gage barely got the light to shut off! I figured it would go up after driving a little, even though that's never happened before. The last thing on my mind was I had got ripped off. I drove 11 miles and the E light came ON! I knew then I was ripped off. I thought about it and realized the guy never had the pump on when I thought I was pumping the $15. Then when he had me pump the rest, that's when the pump was turned on and I got $5.35 cents of gas, which is about a gallon and a half, if that. When I went in and paid him the 35 cents extra and saw the 14.65 on his register, I figured out he had punched on his register 5.35 out of 20.00 is....$14,65! He pocketed my $14.65! I had to stop at another gas station and put $20 in my vehicle just to see how it should look and the gas gage went up immediately like it always does, over a quarter of a tank! I know I definitely got ripped off!
