Upon arriving, we were told to stay quiet while the manager, I think his name was ***, snapped at everyone, his own people and guests We watched handlers seem to aggressively handle the horses as they lined them up, shoving heads, kicking legs, and yanking at themOnce our group, a mix of children on their first ride and other casual riders, finally headed out for a one hour trail ride, our guide seemed full of bravado and talked incessantly, often time sounding arrogantHe talked about gelding a horse because he got "hard too handle." He spoke of punishing another horse for trying to eat grass during the rideHe went on about how he never had a "barnstorming" horse and he "never would," and how bad it would be to fall off a horse with the saddleHe never stopped talking We were in the trees as we were turned at the half way point of our ride, and o
