Alachua Tire & Brake Reviews (%countItem)

My 2001 Toyota Sequoia was at this shop having repair work done it was towed to this shop by my car Insurance company Geico. It was not running when it arrived nor any damages to the hood and front bumper. The man working on my vehicle wrecked it while he was repairing it. His name is ***. I have contacted the owner of this company and my Insurance company and I can't get this issue resolved with the owner on my own. I have been in contact with the owner but I get no where with her and neither has my Insurance adjuster. She has not given me any Insurance information so I can get my car fixed. Then she offers to tow my car to University collision center so I'm under the impression she is going to pay for it to be fixed but no my car is still sitting at the collision center. I do not have the money to fix it. I need your help in resolving this issue. Thank you *** 32658

is inaccurately reporting this incident in her efforts to defame my business. In late Sept a 2001 Toyota Sequoia was left at my shop for throttle repair. My office manager contacted and informed ***'s husband, *** about the repair amount, he declined service. For the next few weeks I spoke several times to *** and his boss ***, informing them that he either needed to make the repair or remove his vehicle. During that time *** and his boss spoke with another mechanic (***) who works for a parts company who agreed to work on the Sequoia. In the process of removing the vehicle (I'm told) the vehicle gear slipped and the hood was damaged. (***) contacted *** and his boss as he took full ownership of the damage and agreed to repair and paint the hood. (I'm not sure *** was aware) A few weeks went by and I spoke with *** at my shop and he let me know that he still wanted his Sequoia repaired once the hood issue with *** was cleared up. I called *** to my shop while *** was there and their agreement was still in place. I didn't have any contact with *** until Geico contacted me about the incident. When the insurance company contacted me I provided (***) contact and witnesses information (***s boss and the tow driver used to remove the vehicle) I informed Geico that the damage done to that vehicle was caused by(***) and he was in contact with ***, his boss and an agreement had been made. I made several attempts to contact *** concerning the repair and removal of his vehicle but he never responded. *** isn't being truthful when she states I offered to tow the Sequoia to University Collision Center, after the agreement between ***, his boss and *** was made, she contacted her insurance company. I tried to help resolve the issue because I'm actually friends with *** and ***. She's fully aware that *** had her vehicle towed to University Collision after she text me where she wanted it to go for an estimate.

I think there was a breakdown in communication between Mr. & *** because I witnessed several conversations between ***, *** and ***'s boss , ***. *** agreed to make the repairs, *** agreed but I'm not sure *** was aware of that agreement. After she threatened me with litigation, I ended communication because she stated she was aware *** was not an Alachua Tire & Brake employee but she felt I was responsible for the damage to the hood of her vehicle. Yet when I gave her ***s number, arranged for them to communicate with me as a witness, she failed to do so. I ended communication with *** after he threatened to place liens on my business.

I'd really like your help getting the *** to contact *** as I've tried and hopefully resolve this issue. There is no need to defame my business nor threaten me in any way. I've only tried to help all parties involved.

I can provide contact information for (***). ***'s boss and the tow driver.

Please contact me if needed.
