Review: We contracted with Alacrity Services LLC to move some equipment from our [redacted] New York office to multiple locations. [redacted] of Alacrity sub contracted some movers to pick up the equipment, crate it and take to a shipping terminal. The first two items where printers. One was to be shipped to our office in [redacted] PA and the other to our office in [redacted] TX. Both printers had finishers on them and we disassembled for shipment. The printers did get to the correct location (one was damaged) but the finishers where crossed and Alacrity would not fix the mistake. I then received a [redacted] from the [redacted] company [redacted] for the shipment to TX which I had paid Alacrity for. Alacrity had signed the documents in my name so when Alacrity did not pay their [redacted] came to me. I showed [redacted] the documents I had for [redacted]ing and payments to Alacrity but they were unsuccessful in collecting from Alacrity so they sent it to a collections agency [redacted] who is now coming after us for payment. We had paid Alacrity in full for the printer relocation as well as over $1500 in a down payment for another set of equipment to be moved. Alacrity did not complete the move of the other equipment and will not respond to phone calls or E-mails to me, [redacted] the [redacted] company, or [redacted]. [redacted] and Alacrity has taken our money and not completed his contract.
