Alacrity Service will not provide me invoices and/or documents on their services or their subcontractor they hired for the work that was done on my home. I would like a itemized invoice and all documents between all parties i.e. contractors and Tower Hill Insurance Company.

Alacrity Services Response • Apr 16, 2020

Greetings, Thank you for giving Alacrity Services the opportunity to
respond to Ms. concerns filed with the Revdex.com. We are
committed to providing a high standard of service and we welcome customer
feedback so we can identify areas to improve our service and customer
satisfaction. Alacrity Services provides services to insurance companies
in connection with losses suffered by their policyholders. Mainly, we provide a
network of independent, credentialed contractors that are made available to
provide restoration, mitigation, or other services to return damaged properties
to pre-loss condition. Services are provided in accordance with an estimate and
scope of work approved by the insurance carrier. Regarding Ms. latest complaint, we think it is
important to note that we have no records of Ms. requesting the items
identified in her complaint. We also want to clarify for Ms. that Alacrity
does not provide contractor services (such as mitigation, remediation or
construction) and does not hire contractors on behalf of insureds like Ms.
***. The documents she has requested are documents normally provided by the
contractor she hired and/or her insurance carrier.Regardless, we have sent her relevant documents and
information that we have concerning her project. These are documents provided
to us by the contractor Ms. hired, Armstrong’s Cleaning and Restoration
Services. Any specific questions about “the correct process for mold
remediation” or further detail about “what work was done to her home/how it was
treated and who conducted the work” should be directed to Armstrong’s.We are happy to facilitate communications between parties
but would ask that Ms. please contact us directly with such a request before
initiating the Revdex.com complaint process, as it appears she has done here. And as
we mentioned in a previous response to one of her Revdex.com complaints: one of our
core services is to investigate allegations of faulty materials or workmanship
on jobs completed through our program. If Ms. has any specific concerns
with the materials used or workmanship performed in the mold remediation
services handled by Armstrong's Cleaning and Restoration Services, Alacrity
will gladly investigate.Whether to investigate specific concerns related to
workmanship or materials, or to facilitate communication with other relevant
parties, we encourage Ms. to contact us directly before opening yet
another Revdex.com complaint.Sincerely, Keith S Quality Assurance Manager Alacrity Services

Customer Response • Apr 27, 2020

Hello,In regards to his false statements. I have received no documents from Alacrity. I reached to Alacrity and received no response. If they have documents they should easily provide them to me via email.I did not hire any of the contractors that worked on my home, Tower Hill Insurance sent contractors out. Mr. S seems very intelligent and cooperative in this circumstances with Revdex.com, but has not displayed the same customer service and honor to me.Respectfully

Alacrity Services was referred to me by my insurance company to handle a property damage claim.
Alacrity stated that each contractor must successfully complete a strict credential process and contractually agree to warrantee their work. I was informed that field representatives or project managers would visit the job sites to review the work that the contractors were doing and see how the progress was going with the repairs. I also signed a contract which stated that they would be complete approximately August 30, 2019. I do not believe that their credentials were checked completely due to the fact that one of the plumbers that they sent here was not a certified plumber which resulted in many incidences of poor workmanship and further damage to our home on several Occasions. More importantly they did not show up to work for days At a time; I could clearly see that from my cameras. This delayed the completion of the job; it is now almost February 2020 and were out of our home for almost three months. July to February is a long time, the contract says completion date was approximately August 30 of 2019.
A representative informed us that we would be compensated for the delayed repair, as well as the inconvenience of not being in our home for months, and The physical and financial hardship we have very patiently endured. Lastly The alacrity services regional field manager, *** informed me that there will be no compensation PERIOD!

the network contractor. We understand that the remaining work related to the

bathroom cabinet and the need to complete trim and caulking near the bathroom
vanity. The network contractor has agreed to address these remaining repairs
and we have reached out to Ms. directly to facilitate the scheduling

plumber’s credentials. We are sorry for the frustration Ms. has

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

The issues at hand have still not been addressed as far as how long it has taken to complete this sub-par job. Some caulking and some paint brush up does not compare to time, physical, and financial losses We have endured. It is believed by me that the company feels we owe them for breaking my Granite and many other mistakes. My family’s life was put in danger. Their negligent acts put our family in danger with leaving large free edge Commercial grade razor blades all over the floor. Not to mention the fact that I came home and the lockbox was not locked and the alarm was not set and none of the doors were locked. Hazard, plastic and paper, and a plethora of other things That could cause trips and falls and other injuries.

Sincerely

Company was responsible for taking away my personal property after a fire, cleaning it and returning it in better condition than when it left.Itwasn't
Alacrity/Protek was responsible for packing up, cleaning and returning out personal property after a fire. They didn't. Much of the property was not cleaned , I have pictures. My refrigerator was dented and some of my property was not returned at all. This company hires kids to come into your house and complete a very mature, professional job. They are not supervised and damaged my walls after they were repaired. Left Bryan , the manager, a message explaining my concerns. No return call.

I am rejecting this response because: Alacrity, Ms. Natasha R nor Louis A has made no progress in rectifying any of the concerns or complaints. While they have contacted me several times, nothing has been done in order to seriously deal with the matter. Again, if you are in need of any services that Alacrity or Protek provide, I encourage you to look elsewhere.

Dear Ms***,
We are sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the results of your restoration project following your fireAlacrity Services is dedicated to providing unparalleled service in connection with warranty claims made under our Quality Assurance Guarantee and we thoroughly
investigate all complaints brought to our attention in order to maintain this standardIn fact, a previous issue related to your restoration project is exemplary of our ideal process: we heard your concerns, addressed them with the contractor, and effected necessary repairs swiftly and to your satisfaction
While keeping valued homeowners like you satisfied is always a top priority, our Quality Assurance Guarantee is limited to the scope of the approved insurance estimate for repairsIn reviewing our file for your claim, the insurance estimate involved reattaching the kitchen sink and hooking up the dishwasher, but it did not involve any bath plumbing repairs, including related venting replacement or installation
It is not uncommon for a network contractor to perform work outside the insurance estimate, along with the approved estimate itemsFurther, some items pre-exist a covered lossAny work performed outside the scope of the approved insurance estimate, or needed to address a pre-existing condition, does not get covered by our Quality Assurance GuaranteeOur program offers very specific protections We are unable to extend those protections to pre-existing conditions or to repairs that do not go through our program, even if performed by the same contractor
We hope this helps your understanding of the Alacrity Services programAgain, we are sorry for the frustration you have experiencedPlease feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions or concerns related to your project

On May 27th, 2018 I received a letter from the Alacrity services writing to me that I had signed off on a certificate of satisfaction for work performed properly by *** company # ***, a third party company that was hired by the Alacrity service, which was managed by ***. And additionally sending along a guarantee letter that stated " This quality assurance Guarantee ensures that all repair work related to alacrity number# *** was done free from defects or faulty workmanship...." I spoke to Ryan H, Regional Field Manager at Alacrity Services on July 19th, 2018. He tried to dance around the services that was done by ***, and that *** paid for the damages. But I told MR. H I wasn't talking about the things that was broken, beyond repairs. I was talking about the items that were in good conditions and that was impossible to replace like trimmings that surround the entire kitchen, you could not replace the small part that *** broke off, but the entire trimming around the kitchen so it can match. These were at least 50 year old style trimming that are not easily found. I know because I still have to hear it from my wife. Nonetheless, what I wanted from *** or Alacrity was a letter stating that I was not satisfied and signed off on any work performed, especially went the customer which was I was not contend with the damaged that should have never taken place. The alacrity service were quick to send a letter acknowledging their professional job done. Now it has been almost a month and I haven't received no corresponds via email not letter format to show that the Alacrity really took our conversation serious, and insist on that letter. Because for all I know they still have the original letter commending themselves and the *** for a work done correctly or faulty workmanship which is not the case

Dear Mr.,

Alacrity Services provides services to insurance companies in connection with losses suffered by their policyholders. Mainly, we provide a network of independent, credentialed contractors that are made available to provide restoration, mitigation, or other services to return damaged properties to pre-loss condition. Services are provided in accordance with an estimate and scope of work approved by your insurance carrier. Successfully completed claims receive Alacrity’s Quality Assurance Guarantee.

The restoration of your 2017 loss was handled by one of our independent network contractors. Our records confirm that you did not sign a Certificate of Satisfaction at the conclusion of your water mitigation project. After reviewing your file, I found a clerical error that caused our Quality Assurance letter to be sent to you by mistake. Please understand this was unintentional and in no way a reflection of the internal quality control we strive for.

I am sorry for the frustration you have experienced, both with the services provided by our network contractor as well as with the receipt of our QA letter alleging you were satisfied with those services. Based on my review of the file and your Complaint to the Revdex.com, it is not Alacrity’s position that the work was done to your satisfaction. I will reach out to you directly to see if there is anything further I can do regarding your concerns related to your project.

Sincerely,

Keith S
