I would like a refund of the money taken from my bank accountI have already paid the worth of these books when I paid to rent them

Please see attached letter, below is a copy of text in the attached letter: January 12, 2017 RE:      Complaint...

# [redacted] To Revdex.com, In response to the complaint about charges at the Alamance Community College Bookstore (Bookstore), this memo provides information and related attachments that support the charges to the patron.  On August 8th, 2016, the patron rented textbooks from the Bookstore.  The customer signed a rental agreement on this date (August 8, 2016) that documented the due date (December 15, 2016) that the books must be returned to the Bookstore.  The rental agreement also specified the non-return charges that would be assessed to the collateral (credit card) that the patron provided if the books were not returned or if the books were damaged.  A copy of the signed rental agreement noting the aforementioned information is on page one of the document titled “Rental Agreement and Email Notification Documentation-[redacted]” attached. Prior to the due date of 12/15/16, the patron received four emails notifying the books were due.  One additional email was sent to the patron on December 17, 2016 notifying the rental past due status.  Thus, in total, five emails were sent to the patron.  When signing the rental agreement on August 8, 2016, the customer verified that the “contact” email address was correct (see “Rental Agreement and Email Notification Documentation-[redacted]”, page one).  In addition, Alamance Community College has provided a copy of the email history on page four of the aforementioned attachment (see “Rental Agreement and Email Notification Documentation-[redacted]”, page four) showing that each of the five emails were successfully delivered to the email address provided and agreed to by the patron. The customer and a parent returned to the Bookstore after the due date (December 22, 2016) to contest the charges.  Regrettably, the books were significantly damaged and could not be reused.  Therefore, the Bookstore was unable to make an exception due to the condition of the books and charged the customer the agreed upon charge per the signed rental agreement on August 8, 2016.  As the customer has requested, the collateral was removed and the rental account was disabled.   To summarize, the patron alleges in a statement to the Revdex.com that the Bookstore inaccurately charged him twice for a text book.  Based upon the information provided above and the documentation provided in the attachment entitled “Rental Agreement and Email Notification Documentation-[redacted]”, the College maintains that the patron was accurately charged for non-compliance with the rental agreement signed by the patron on August 8, 2016 and not charged twice for a text book.
