WARNING- smooth talking liarIf I could give stars I wouldRonnie Baldridge now advertises his company under the name of Grant ConstructionI wish we had known this before we hired himOur metal roof took weeks to put on (the estimate was week), didn't start until a month after initially planned, looks awful (very scratched and spots where they damaged the material started showing some rust within weeks of install), and we have $500+ of left over roofing material because he was too lazy to go back to our house and get accurate measurements before orderingIf that wasn't enough, we had $of tools stolen while his crew was there (they had access to the bathroom inside, and no one else was on the premises)For weeks Ronnie insisted it was a certain one of his roofers (who has stolen from previous work sites) and promised that if the tools didn't show back up he would pay for themWhen it came time to pay he would refuse nothing less than full payment (he wouldn't pay for the tools unless there was an arrest)So now we're out $in tools, have $of material we can't use yet and will be charged a 25% restocking fee should we choose to return them, and paid him for a seriously subpar job on a roof that will not last anywhere near the years the manufacturing company advertisesAnd to top it off, his guys don't even install the roofing material the way the manufacturer recommends so we have dimpling all over the surfaceSubsequent contractors have all said the roof install was poorThe only good thing about the roof is the color, which he had nothing to do with

WARNING- smooth talking liar. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ronnie Baldridge now advertises his company under the name of Grant Construction. I wish we had known this before we hired him. Our metal roof took 3 weeks to put on (the estimate was 1 week), didn't start until a month after initially planned, looks awful (very scratched and spots where they damaged the material started showing some rust within weeks of install), and we have $500+ of left over roofing material because he was too lazy to go back to our house and get accurate measurements before ordering. If that wasn't enough, we had $700 of tools stolen while his crew was there (they had access to the bathroom inside, and no one else was on the premises). For 2 weeks Ronnie insisted it was a certain one of his roofers (who has stolen from previous work sites) and promised that if the tools didn't show back up he would pay for them. When it came time to pay he would refuse nothing less than full payment (he wouldn't pay for the tools unless there was an arrest). So now we're out $700 in tools, have $500 of material we can't use yet and will be charged a 25% restocking fee should we choose to return them, and paid him for a seriously subpar job on a roof that will not last anywhere near the 40 years the manufacturing company advertises. And to top it off, his guys don't even install the roofing material the way the manufacturer recommends so we have dimpling all over the surface. Subsequent contractors have all said the roof install was poor. The only good thing about the roof is the color, which he had nothing to do with.
