Review: I authorized to charge me for the rental car, but they charged me $48 for tolls without my permission to my credit card. I was on official business for the [redacted] and they never had permission to charge my card a second time. I rented the car through the Alamo airport rental at the [redacted] airport.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the charges.

Our TollPass service allows you to

drive through electronic toll express lanes and pay tolls electronically. By

using the designated express lane on all video toll roads within the coverage

area, there is no need to stop and pay. When unpaid tolls are generated, the

Highway Toll Administration will make a request to Alamo for your credit card

information. Once supplied, HTA will apply the charges to your credit card and

the charges will appear on your credit card statement.

As a courtesy, we have refunded the $13 administrative fee to your credit card and you will see those charges refunded to your card within 21 business days.

Review: After an unsuccessful attempt to upcharge me for a prepaid car rental placed through a third party ([redacted]), Alamo is attempting to hold me responsible for damage to the vehicle that was present when I picked the vehicle up. The vehicle was not checked when I picked it up. The attendant gave me the keys and walked away. When I reached my destination and got out of the vehicle I noticed that some paint on the front bumper on the white car was missing. Due to the extremely rude behavior of rental attendants, I believed taking a photo would be a mute point because I believed they would tell me the damage could have happened after leaving the facility. When I returned the vehicle, the manager was there with a damage report form to check the vehicle in and proceeded to write a report for damge to the vehicle. When I told him the car was not checked and that the car was damaged when I picked it up but I didn't notice it until I reached the hotel, he told me that Alamo video tapes all transactions from beginning to end and that vehicle will be reviewed to determine what happened. A few weeks later, I received a letter in the mail requesting insurance information. I called Alamo to dispute the claim. I was told this is alamo's practice...the vehicle is prepared ahead of time and released to the customer, then checked when it is returned. I have concrete proof that when an upcharge is successful by downsizing the vehicle and charging the customer for the daily insurance, the vehicle is checked when picked up.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome is that Alamo drop the damage claim against me. without adding any type of derogatory rating to my credit report.

Review: I rented a car from the [redacted] airport. I paid in advance through [redacted] and picked up the car a day later. Because it was a day later the representative deducted $14. 19 from the receipt and handed me the receipt for $37.83.

When I returned the car I was charged an additional $77 ($8 of it was for gas), but I didnt understand what were the additional charges for. I then called Alamo and after speaking to several people today Ashley from the [redacted] airport called me back to let me know that the additional charges was because I returned the car to the the [redacted] airport and that she wasn't willing to adjust the rates because I did not call in to let them know I would be turning it in at a different location.

My concern is that I fly stand by and I could only take a flight out of [redacted] based on availability that morning and that was unknown until the morning of the flight---which was at 6am. I dropped the car off at 4:30am and [redacted] airport doesnt open until 7am. Not exactly sure how I would have been able to properly notify anyone that I needed to go to another airport.Desired Settlement: $77 minus the cost for the gas.

They stated that one-way trips are more expensive that round trips, and that results in an additional charge. Customers are encouraged to call customer service when modifications need to be made to the rental reservation. The customer is being credited back a total of $79.36 to her [redacted].
