Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The bulk of the work was done by Alamo Collision, and this work was not done untill they took over the business (complete with refusing to return phone calls during this time) It was Alamo Collision who took the car apart, and was having trouble putting it together This after they had the car apart when I left in December of 2012, and I asked them AGAIN if the engine was okay, and they responded it worked fine It was during the time that when I called them they responded that they were having trouble with the transmission and was driving it back and forth to work to (figure out?) on how to correct it Also, it was Alamo collision who agreed to a front end clip, not a back end, etcWhy is it now, that they are stating the above, as when I left in December 2012, they had ALL of the parts out of the car, and I was told by [redacted] himself that they had the parts (front end and the orginal back end) together, and they just had to solder it? and then put the parts they took out, in? Lydia called me and asked me if I wanted a moon roof in the ceiling of the car, which I declined This is a new twist, as before they were telling me that the back end was still orginal! And, it was both Extreme Collision AND Alamo Collision who said they COULD repair the car Regards, [redacted]

Alamo Collision has made attempts to call the client through phone and email so we can resolve this matter but has not received any response If she can please call or return emails please

In response to Ms. [redacted] Complaint on her 1991 Honda AccordIts has been a year since this vehicle has been sent home and we are barley hearing about the problems with this vehicle. We would have liked to known these problems 2 or 3 months after the vehicle went home, one year is plenty of...

time for problems to occur on its own being that her vehicle is a 1991 Honda accord. This is all brand new information to Alamo Collision we did sent home her vehicle in working condition with no life time warranty due to the fact that another shop took on this vehicle. This vehicle was hit by an 18 wheeler, Ms. [redacted] made a deal with Xtreme Collision Center along with [redacted] who she paid in full , knowing her vehicle was a total loss but wanted to retain it because of sentimental value to her. Xtreme Collision Center went out of business a month later along with [redacted]. Please understand that Alamo Collision is not affiliated with Xtreme Collision , we are completely different owners and have nothing to do with them. We as Alamo Collision decided to still help out Ms. [redacted] because her parts were already here along with her vehicle . I will now like to take the time to describe how bad this vehicle was damage.... The 1991 Honda damages from the 18 wheeler needed a complete front and back end meaning hood, all bumper assembly, headlights , fenders, inner structure, radiator, condenser. fan assembly, engine , transmission, windshield , roof, 3 out of 4 doors, trunk, and rear bumper assembly. All of Ms. [redacted] parts were used parts since her Honda is a 1991 which explains different colors inside, only the outside was completely repainted to its original factory color. It is true that this vehicle did take long to fix due to the fact that Alamo Collision did not receive any money. when her vehicle was sent home Ms. [redacted] attorney went on a test drive with [redacted] ( owner of Alamo Collision Center) and inspected the vehicle to make sure it was in good running and presentable condition. Ms. [redacted] attorney took it upon himself to deliver her vehicle in a Uhual trailer with his own vehicle to Houston where she now lives , if  her vehicle was not in good running condition we believe  her attorney who has there to represent Ms. [redacted] would not have accepted the vehicle. Everything was in working order in the time of delivery in which her lawyer signed a paper that he was taking possession of her vehicle in which we will also provide along with a   document receipt Ms [redacted] signed & dated from Xtreme Collision Center. Also to  help Ms. [redacted] for her inconvenience Alamo Collision paid her [redacted] rental bill in the amount of 428.00 and also her taxie bills for 206.00 We as Alamo Collision Center did our best way possible to get her vehicle back knowing that fact she made a deal with the prior business that was here. Till this day Xtreme Colllision is no longer in business, Alamo Collision cannot offer a lifetime warranty on her vehicle because of the fact that the original  agreement was made by the prior business and the year of her vehicle. We as Alamo Collision Center feel that we went above and beyond to help he r in this situation. I will be sending the documents from Ms. [redacted] that she signed along with her lawyers signature

I am rejecting this response because:  The bulk of the work was done by Alamo Collision, and this work was not done untill they took over the business (complete with refusing to return phone calls during this time).  It was Alamo Collision who took the car apart, and was having trouble putting it together.  This after they had the car apart when I left in December of 2012, and I asked them AGAIN if the engine was okay, and they responded it worked fine.  It was during the 2013 time that when I called them they responded that they were having trouble with the transmission and was driving it back and forth to work to (figure out?) on how to correct it.  Also, it was Alamo collision who agreed to a front end clip, not a back end, etc. Why is it now, that they are stating the above, as when I left in December 2012, they had ALL of the parts out of the car, and I was told by [redacted] himself that they had the 2 parts (front end and the orginal back end) together, and they just had to solder it? and then put the parts they took out, in?   Lydia called me and asked me if I wanted a moon roof in the ceiling of the car, which I declined.   This is a new twist, as before they were telling me that the back end was still orginal!  And, it was both Extreme Collision AND Alamo Collision who said they COULD repair the car.
