He is not consistent, he doesn't finish his job on timeIt took him months to build our kitchen islandWorkers kept asking us for money because he didn't pay themAfter work was done he charged us even more money because he stated his company doesn't supply handles for the kitchen island that he builtThis guy is a total rip offDon't trust a word he tells you

Unfortunately, I hired this man. Worst experience I'll probably have with a contractor. Told me 2-3 weeks (but probably one) for a shower remodel. All tile and design picked out before start. All fixtures purchased. TOOK ALMOST FOUR MONTHS. Calls not returned. People not showing up for weeks at a time. Some days a total different person would show up, do nothing, and leave. Gave excuses for things not being done as asked. Got worse after second payment. Other than the plumbing, my neighbor and I could have done this job. Uneven tile, visible cuts in tile, different colors in grout. Messed up walls. One person even broke my towel holder out of the wall and glued it to the wall so I wouldn't notice. The plumbing was done wrong and they had to cut my bedroom wall out to change it. I had to order plumbing parts I didn't need because they didn't check the plumbing before putting up the tile. Job is essentially done but I am unhappy with it. It looks amateur and it took almost 4 months. I would never consider hiring this man again. A good salesman, poor businessman.

Unfortunately, we have hired a lawyer in an attempt to recover the money my wife gave to this company to complete work at our home in Schertz, TX. As of 18 Nov 2016, we are working to get over $40,000 back from Alamo Design & Remodeling. This company abandon the work site after two months:
1. Company did not register with the City of Schertz, TX until after six weeks of work, which is still not completed and maybe not to code.
2. Company started work in 1st week of Sep 2016 and as of today, 18 Nov 2016, company still has not submitted/obtained proper permits for the three projects this company has been paid to complete.
3. Company did not schedule for engineer review/assessment prior or during work.
4. Company did not coordinate for city inspectors to inspect base for two concrete slaps prior or after concrete pouring. Don't know if work meets city code standards.
5. Company had one of the cheapest roofing material on the market delivered to our residence and refuse to have it picked up or tell us where he purchased this material. We are afraid that this roofing material may have been bought on the black market; we are checking. This roofing material has been blocking half of our driveway now for a month.
6. Company had unlicensed individuals to do install plumbing pike for our outdoor kitchen area.

Its now going on three months and we working with our lawyers to obtain every penny the company was paid to do the job. Company owner will not return our calls or respond to our text messages to him. It is unknown if any of the work done to date is to code standards for the City of Schertz, TX.
