Ms [redacted] Revdex.com Corporate Office La Posada Drive Austin, TX Re: Complaint ID [redacted] Dear Ms [redacted] : Below is our response to Mr& Mrs***'s rebuttal to our original response regarding the above referenced complaintWe made repairs to the ***'s sprinkler system per their request and to their satisfaction for which we have signed invoices from the ***'sThey paid us after they inspected the sprinkler system upon each visit and were completely satisfied that the sprinkler system was working fineIf not, they would have requested us to do more work while we were thereThe money they spent covers the modification of the front yard sprinklers and the repair of a large leak by a tree in the backyard which Included moving and replacing two valves, for which we generously discounted the cost of the partsAs I mentioned in my previous response, we do not and cannot warranty an entire sprinkler system just because we lower some heads and reroute and replace several valves in order to repair a leakI offered to go to the ***'s house personally and make any reasonable repairs to their sprinkler system as long as they paid for the partsThe ***'s declined my offerin addition, they still insist that we should repair their entire sprinkler system at no charge to themPlease note that any additional repairs made to the ***s sprinkler system, either then or now, would result in additional labor and parts chargesThe money they paid us only covers the previous repairs and does not include a warranty for their entire sprinkler system. Please let me know if you have questions or need additional informationThank you for your assistance with this matter.Sincerely yours, [redacted]

Dear [redacted] , Our responses below are in redWe are continuing the complaint against Alamo IrrigationPlease advise Best Regards, [redacted] and [redacted] We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint filed by [redacted] and [redacted] ***Below is our response to that complaintMr& Mrs [redacted] have been customers of Alamo irrigation since January On our first visit to the [redacted] residence on January 29, 2014, we assessed their sprinkler system and gave them a verbal estimate to replace one head and nozzle on each of zones 3, & and to locate and replace a valveon zone The ***'s did not call us back until May to make these repairsPlease note that the actual invoice was less than our original estimateThe ***'s paid for this repair and we did not hear from them again until May of We did not own this home in 1/We bought the home 4/This paragraph refers to our request that Alamo Irrigation inspect the irrigation system to confirm is was functioning properly prior to our purchase of the homeOf course we paid for the inspectionAnd yes, we called Alamo Irrigation back (5/14) after purchasing the house to insure the system was working properly, which they did with only minor adjustments to the system at that timeThis statement is typical of [redacted] in that he misinforms, misleads and mischaracterizes events in an attempt to avoid responsibility for his employees actionsThe ***'s called the office and made an appointment for May 8, Our repairman discovered that the sprinkler controller was malfunctioningWe also mentioned that the sprinkler system had no rain sensor which is now required on every sprinkler systemMrs [redacted] told our repairman that she would discuss this with her husband and that she did not want to spend a lot of money at this time on her sprinkler systemOur repairman also performed a full system checkMrs [redacted] accompanied our repairman around her yard to show him that they were completely clearing out all of the beds throughout the yard and no longer wanted risers sticking up 12”Our repairman began the work as requestedDuring this service appointment, the weather turned bad and Mrs [redacted] asked our repairman to leave as she felt uncomfortable with our repairman working in the rainAt this point, the front yard was completedOn this day, there was severe lightning in the areaWe did not want work to continue under the threat of lightning strikesIt was not rain we were uncomfortable with, it was lightningLightning is dangerous [redacted] did the right thing and asked the repairman to stop working for safety reasonsAgain, [redacted] distorts and spins the facts to suit himself We returned to the [redacted] residence on May 23, to complete our check and repair of their sprinkler systemDuring this visit, Mrs [redacted] stepped in some jasmine and noticed a wet spot in the yardOur repairman discovered water streaming from a valveHe removed water from the area, turned the irrigation water off, and repaired the valveHe then lowered additional sprinkler heads and capped one head as requested by the homeownerThe homeowner signed and paid for these repairs and was satisfied with our work Why did it take two weeks to resume work? It was the repairman that recognized the leak, not Mrs***Of course we paid for the repairs, that’s what honest people doWe had no way of knowing there was still a problemWe took the word of the repairman that he had fixed the leak The homeowner subsequently called back in June and said that there was a leak in the same area Ms [redacted] Page Two August 20, as the valve we replaced on May 23, We returned to the [redacted] home on June 13, and turned the water to their sprinkler system off so that the area in question could dry out because it was so saturatedWe called back after notice standing water and mud in the same area where the repairman had been workingExactly where the repairman claimed to have first “found” then “fixed” a leakThere is no need for yard work in the area of the leak, so we are rarely in that areaThis is why it took a few weeks to notice we still had a leakAlso, due to the nature of this type of leak, it may have taken days or weeks for it to surfaceRegardless, again we trusted the repairman in his explanation of what he was doing and that he had fixed the leak We again returned to the [redacted] residence on June 15, and dug up the area from the previous repair to assess the leakOur repairman determined that the valve that was replaced was not leaking, but that there was a small pinhole leak at one of the connections caused by tree roots in that area which were pressing against the fittingsWe suggested to the ***'s that two valves be relocated away from the tree rootsOur repairman discussed the repair and costs with the homeowner, which the homeowner approvedWe returned once more to the [redacted] residence on June 26, at their request so that Mr [redacted] could be present during our visitAt that time, we replaced and moved two valves due to damage by tree rootsWhen the repair was complete, our repairman reviewed the repairs with Mr***Our repairman turned on both valves and checked the backyard sprinkler heads together with Mr***Once again, the ***'s were satisfied with our service and signed their approval and paid usWe did not charge the ***'s for one of the valves and several other parts as a gesture of our good faithPlease note that we do not require any money upfront for repairsOnce a sprinkler system has beenrepaired and inspected by the homeowner, we present them with a bill for services rendered at that timeWe were willing to give benefit of the doubt that we were not paying for the same repair twiceBut due to inconsistencies in what the repairman was telling us, we believed it was entirely possible that the first repair was just a guess on the repairman’s part and thus the second repair was necessaryOn this and every occasion the repairman was at the house, he repeatedly made statements about not liking to work on Saturdays and that he was in a hurry to leave so he could enjoy the rest of his weekendHe was always in too much of a hurryOn this occasion, I was charged $in labor for less than hours of workPlease remember that this work was in addition to prior work to fix the same leakAt no time did the repairman test the entire system to ensure proper operationHe was simply trying to fix the leakAgainAnd he was in a hurry to leaveYes, we paid the bill, that’s what honest people doAnd again, we assumed the leak had been fixedBut the fact remains that the repairman did not turn on and test the system for proper functioningOn July 21, 2015, Mr [redacted] called the office to let us know that his sprinklers had not been repaired properly and he was dissatisfied with our serviceHe said there were numerous problems with his system and that he found a sprinkler head laying on the ground and producing a geyserWe told Mr [redacted] that our repairmen were very experienced and thorough, and they would not overlook a sprinkler head shooting water straight up into the airWe asked if his lawn service might have caused the damageAlthough it was not our intent, apparently we offended Mr [redacted] when we asked this questionMr [redacted] informed us that he takes care of his own lawnPlease note that it is a very common occurrence for lawn maintenance personnel to damage sprinkler heads while they are mowing, etc.; otherwise, we would not have asked this questionWe in no way meant to offend Mr***In addition, we only warranty the labor and parts of the sprinkler system that we actually work onWe do not warranty the entire sprinkler systemDue to heavy rains for an extended period of time, the system went unused until lack of rain and heat necessitated useNaturally, this is when I discovered the system was not functioning properlyPlease remember that we had a functioning system prior to the work on “ the leak”And here again [redacted] misrepresents what actually happened, and is now attempting to blame his customer for the defective workmanship of his employees [redacted] did not simply ask the question, as he claimsHe stated it as a fact in a very aggressive, argumentative and confrontational mannerHis behavior is unacceptableI do agree with [redacted] that any reputable sprinkler system repairman would not miss a geyser shooting water straight up in the airThis helps make the case for what I am sayingHis repairman never saw a geyser shooting up in the air, because his repairman never turned the system on to testI spoke to Mrs [redacted] regarding their complaint when l called her after she emailed us and asked to meet with someone in managementI offered to personally go to their house and make any reasonable repairs to their sprinkler system as long as they would pay for the partsMrs [redacted] was adamant that she expected us to perform all repairs at no cost to her; therefore, I declined to make any additional new repairsThis is not even close to what happenedMy wife was justifiably reluctant to pay Alamo Irrigation again and again for work they were already paid to do [redacted] has been argumentative, hostile and confrontational throughout this entire processHad he been reasonable and fair with us at the beginning, this issue could have been resolved a long time agoWe are filing this complaint as a last resortWe have no other means by which to register our dissatisfactionI have never filed a complaint against a businessEverBut [redacted] , you deserve this Ms, [redacted] Page Three August 20, Subsequently, I spoke to Mr***During that conversation, I relayed to Mr [redacted] the offer that I made to Mrs***Mr [redacted] said he had no knowledge of the offer made to his wifeMr [redacted] told me that his sprinkler system was worse off than before and he wanted me to come out and repair his entire system for freeI told Mr [redacted] that we had performed all of the repairs requested of them, and the ***'s had approved them both in writing and by paying usThis is not what happenedMore spin and damage control by [redacted] During this call, I did agree to [redacted] ’s proposal that they come back and do whatever was necessary to get the sprinkler system working properly, whereupon I would only pay for any parts necessaryThere would be no additional labor chargesWe had an agreementWe had a negotiated resolution to the problemUntil [redacted] reneged for no apparent reason, said he had to talk to the repairman again to find out “what really happened” and then refused to honor the proposal he himself had just made a few minutes priorWhen I questioned what he was doing and why, he continued his angry rant, made threats and accusations and then hung-upThis is irrational behavior, and is unacceptable In conclusion, we made the repairs asked of the ***'s to their sprinkler system during the times we were at their residence and they were satisfiedWe reiterate that we cannot warranty an entire sprinkler system just because we lower some heads and reroute and replace several valvesOur repairman observed the ***'s modifying their landscapingwhile he was thereIt is commonplace for homeowners or landscapers to unknowingly break heads and pipes and otherwise damage a sprinkler system while they are landscaping Alamo Irrigation was paid to ensure we had a functioning sprinkler systemThey did not fulfill their contract to do soWho in their right mind would pay a yard sprinkler company to NOT fix their system? This just doesn’t make senseAgain [redacted] is desperately trying to find ways to blame his customer for his repairman’s incompetenceWhen he writes “our repairman observed the ***’s modifying their landscaping”-in the real world that means I was doing yard work [redacted] made the mistake of trying to blame my “yard crew” for the irrigation system problems, by jumping to the mistaken conclusion that I have a “yard crew”I don’tI mow my own grassThere was no “landscaping” work being done during this fiasco with Alamo IrrigationAnd I just wish the repairman had be more observant regarding his own work instead of looking around for excuses and someone else to blame for his own shoddy work We feel that we went above and beyond the call of duty to try and please the ***’sThe repairs we performed for the ***’s were approved by them before the repairs were made and were performed to their satisfaction and to our highest standards This sounds good, but noIf we were satisfied, we would have never called Alamo Irrigation backThere would have been no need.We paid nearly $1,to Alamo Irrigation and we did not have a functioning system when their work was completeWhen we tried to resolve the issue like calm, reasonable, mature people, we were met with aggressive, accusatory behavior and distortions of the truthThis is why we will continue with our complaintPlease let me know if you have questions or need additional informationSincerely Your, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] continues do misrepresent facts. Fact is, we are and continued to be very dissatisfied with supposed repairs. NEVER did we sign off on their work as finished and complete to our satisfaction. It remains incomplete and we are still very dissatisfied with the lack of any attempt whatsoever by AI to even try to work withy its customer and come to a resolution. FACT, [redacted] has never been to our property. [redacted] was supposed to come to our house on two different Saturday mornings at 8AM. He never showed up, never called to reschedule. Instead, after messages and messages, we finally get a call back wherein he essentially calls us liars and then hangs up. FACT, [redacted] fails to mention the missed appointments. FACT, [redacted] fails to mention the many calls we made to his office over months. FACT, [redacted] fails to mention his gross inappropriate behavior during two calls, where he called us names and made some really disparaging remarks. No gentleman talks to a woman the way [redacted] does. I would suggestion to anyone who speaks with Alamo Irrigation and/or its agents be cautious and record every call. FACT, lying about what really occurred is creating more problems for Alamo Irrigation. They should be held accountable and either make restitution or be put out of business. I believe they intentionally created problems in order that they made more money. We never asked for a new system, we simply wanted fair work at a fair price. Instead, this company makes situations to their advantage. Regards, [redacted] And [redacted] ***

irrigation since January 2014. On our first visit to the [redacted] residence on January 29, 2014, we assessed their sprinkler system and gave them a verbal estimate to replace one head and nozzle on each of zones 3, 4 & 7 and to locate and replace a valve on zone 6. The [redacted]'s did not call us back until May 2014 to make these repairs. Please note that the actual invoice was less than our original estimate. The [redacted]'s paid for this repair and we did not hear from them again until May of 2015. The [redacted]'s called the office and made an appointment for May 8, 2015. Our repairman discovered that the sprinkler controller was malfunctioning. We also mentioned that the sprinkler system had no rain sensor which is now required on every sprinkler system. Mrs. [redacted] told our repairman that she would discuss this with her husband and that she did not want to spend a lot of money at this time on her sprinkler system. Our repairman also performed a full system check. Mrs. [redacted] accompanied our repairman around her yard to show him that they were completely clearing out all of the beds throughout the yard and no longer wanted risers sticking up 12". Our repairman began the work as requested. During this service appointment, the weather turned bad and Mrs. [redacted] asked our repairman to leave as she felt uncomfortable with our repairman working in the rain. At this point, the front yard was completed. We returned to the [redacted] residence on May 23, 2015 to complete our check and repair of their sprinkler system. During this visit, Mrs. [redacted] stepped in some jasmine and noticed a wet spot in the yard. Our repairman discovered water streaming from a valve. He removed water from the area, turned the irrigation water off, and repaired the valve. He then lowered additional sprinkler heads and capped one head as requested by the homeowner. The homeowner signed and paid for these repairs and was satisfied with our work. The homeowner subsequently called back in June 2015 and said that there was a leak in the same areaMs. [redacted]Page TwoAugust 20, 2015as the valve we replaced on May 23, 2015. We returned to the [redacted] home on June 13, 2015 and turned the water to their sprinkler system off so that the area in question could dry out because it was so saturated. We again returned to the [redacted] residence on June 15, 2015 and dug up the area from the previous repair to assess the leak. Our repairman determined that the valve that was replaced was not leaking, but that there was a small pinhole leak at one of the connections caused by tree roots in that area which were pressing against the fittings. We suggested to the [redacted]'s that two valves be relocated away from the tree roots. Our repairman discussed the repair and costs with the homeowner, which thehomeowner approved. We returned once more to the [redacted] residence on June 26, 2015 at their request so that Mr. [redacted] could be present during our visit. At that time, we replaced and moved two valves due to damage by tree roots. When the repair was complete, our repairman reviewed the repairs with Mr. [redacted]. Our repairman turned on both valves and checked the backyard sprinkler heads together with Mr. [redacted]. Once again, the [redacted]'s were satisfied with our service and signed their approval and paid us. We did not charge the [redacted]'s for one of the valves and several other parts as a gesture of our good faith. Please note that we do not require any money upfront for repairs. Once a sprinkler system has been repaired and inspected by the homeowner, we present them with a bill for services rendered at that time.On July 21, 2015, Mr. [redacted] called the office to let us know that his sprinklers had not been repaired properly and he was dissatisfied with our service. He said there were numerous problems with his system and that he found a sprinkler head laying on the ground and producing a geyser. We told Mr. [redacted] that our repairmen were very experienced and thorough, and they would not overlook a sprinkler head shooting water straight up into the air. We asked if his lawn service might have caused the damage. Although it was not our intent, apparently we offended Mr. [redacted] when we asked this question. Mr. [redacted] informed us that he takes care of his own lawn. Please note that it is a very common occurrence for lawn maintenance personnel to damage sprinkler heads while they are mowing, etc.; otherwise, we would not have asked this question. We in no way meant to offend Mr. [redacted]. In addition, we only warranty the labor and parts of the sprinkler system that we actually work on. We do not warranty the entire sprinkler system.I spoke to Mrs. [redacted] regarding their complaint when l called her after she emailed us and asked to meet with someone in management. During that conversation, I relayed to Mr. [redacted] the offer that I made to Mrs. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] said he had no knowledge of the offer made to his wife. Mr. [redacted] told me that his sprinkler system was worse off than before and he wanted me to come out and repair his entire system for free. I told Mr. [redacted] that we had performed all of the repairs requested of them, and the [redacted]'s had approved them both in writing and by paying us.In conclusion, we made the repairs asked of the [redacted]'s to their sprinkler system during the times we were at their residence and they were satisfied. We reiterate that we cannot warranty an entire sprinkler system just because we lower some heads and reroute and replace several valves. Our repairman observed the [redacted]'s modifying their landscapingwhile he was there. It is commonplace for homeowners or landscapers to unknowingly break heads and pipes and otherwise damage a sprinkler system while they are landscaping. We feel that we went above and beyond the call of duty to try and please the [redacted]'s. The repairs we performed for the [redacted]'s were approved by them before the repairs were made and were performed to their satisfaction and to our highest standards. Please let me know if you have questions or need additional information.Sincerely Your,[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] Revdex.com Corporate Office 1005 La Posada Drive Austin, TX 78752 Re: Complaint ID [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]: Below is our response to Mr. & Mrs. [redacted]'s rebuttal to our original response regarding the above referenced complaint. We made repairs to the [redacted]'s sprinkler system per their request and to their satisfaction for which we have signed invoices from the [redacted]'s. They paid us after they inspected the sprinkler system upon each visit and were completely satisfied that the sprinkler system was working fine. If not, they would have requested us to do more work while we were there. The money they spent covers the modification of the front yard sprinklers and the repair of a large leak by a tree in the backyard which Included moving and replacing two valves, for which we generously discounted the cost of the parts. As I mentioned in my previous response, we do not and cannot warranty an entire sprinkler system just because we lower some heads and reroute and replace several valves in order to repair a leak. I offered to go to the [redacted]'s house personally and make any reasonable repairs to their sprinkler system as long as they paid for the parts. The [redacted]'s declined my offer. in addition, they still insist that we should repair their entire sprinkler system at no charge to them. Please note that any additional repairs made to the [redacted]s sprinkler system, either then or now, would result in additional labor and parts charges. The money they paid us only covers the previous repairs and does not include a warranty for their entire sprinkler system. Please let me know if you have questions or need additional information. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.Sincerely yours,[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] called and scheduled an appointment with us for Saturday, June 18, 2016 to perform work on his sprinkler system. On that date, our repairman went to his house and assessed his sprinkler system. Our repairman determined that zone 1 had low pressure and was not wor[redacted] properly, so he did the...

logical thing and replaced the valve on zone 1. After the valve was replaced on zone 1, it was worling better but still had low pressure. When the repairman reviewed the rest of the sprinkler system with Mr. [redacted], he noticed that the entire system had low pressure. Our repairman then determined that Mr. [redacted]'s backflow device was not working as it should and needed to be replaced. Our repairman removed the bad backflow device, hooked.the sprinkler system back up without it, and then turned the system back on. The sprinkler system was functioning properly after the device was removed. Mr. [redacted] observed this and saw the difference this made. Our repairman gave Mr. [redacted] a price at that time to replace his backflow device, and Mr. [redacted] authorized the work. Our repairman did not have a backflow device on his truck, so Mr. [redacted] scheduled us to return to his home on June 23, 2016 to replace his backflow. On June 23, 2016, our repairman returned to Mr. [redacted]'s house at the designated time to find that no one was home, even though Mr. [redacted] told us he or his wife would be there. Our repairman rang the doorbell severalliines, and our office attempted to call Mr. [redacted] numerous times at the phone number he provided. Mr. [redacted] finally called us back and said that he was at work and his wife was out of town, so no one could meet our repairman that day. Once again, Mr. [redacted] rescheduled his appointment, this time for June 29, 2016.When our office called Mr. [redacted] on June 29, 2016 to let him know that our repairman was headed to his house to install the backfiow device, Mr. [redacted] asked what his bill was so far. We gave him the total. He then asked how much more it was going to cost to install the backflow device. We subsequently quoted Mr. [redacted] a price. Mr. [redacted] then changed his mind about having us install a new backfiow and paid what he owed us at that time.On or about June 30, 2016, Mr. [redacted] called as[redacted] for his defective backflow device back. At that time, we told him we thought it was in the office but would have to check. In reality, the device had been discarded on Monday, June 20, 2016 when the repairman who had been at Mr. [redacted]'s house on Saturday, June 18, 2016 cleaned his truck out from the weekend. Obviously, the device was of no use to us because it was malfunctioning. if Mr. [redacted] had asked to keep the device in the first place, we would have gladly given it to him. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] waited almost two weeks to ask for it back.In addition, Mr. [redacted] never asked for an invoice from us for the work done on his sprinkler --mtem=klie-heve-mailecFa-copya-ttm invoice in question to him.In conclusion, it appears that Mr. [redacted] changed his mind suddenly about having us install a backflow device for him almost two weeks after authorizing us to do so. We did not ask Mr. [redacted] for any money during our first visit or even on the second visit when Mr. [redacted] did not show up. We fully anticipated replacing Mr. [redacted]'s backflow device for him. We did not anticipate him changing his mind at such a late date. If we still had Mr. [redacted]'s backflow device, we would gladly return it to him. Please let me know if you have questions or need additional information.

Dear [redacted],   Our responses below are in red. We are continuing the complaint against Alamo Irrigation. Please advise.   Best Regards,   [redacted] and [redacted]   We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint filed by [redacted] and [redacted]. Below is our response to that complaint. Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] have been customers of Alamo irrigation since January 2014. On our first visit to the [redacted] residence on January 29, 2014, we assessed their sprinkler system and gave them a verbal estimate to replace one head and nozzle on each of zones 3, 4 & 7 and to locate and replace a valveon zone 6. The [redacted]'s did not call us back until May 2014 to make these repairs. Please note that the actual invoice was less than our original estimate. The [redacted]'s paid for this repair and we did not hear from them again until May of 2015. We did not own this home in 1/2014. We bought the home 4/2014. This paragraph refers to our request that Alamo Irrigation inspect the irrigation system to confirm is was functioning properly prior to our purchase of the home. Of course we paid for the inspection. And yes, we called Alamo Irrigation back (5/14) after purchasing the house to insure the system was working properly, which they did with only minor adjustments to the system at that time. This statement is typical of [redacted] in that he misinforms, misleads and mischaracterizes events in an attempt to avoid responsibility for his employees actions. Mrs. [redacted] accompanied our repairman around her yard to show him that they were completely clearing out all of the beds throughout the yard and no longer wanted risers sticking up 12”. Our repairman began the work as requested. During this service appointment, the weather turned bad and Mrs. [redacted] asked our repairman to leave as she felt uncomfortable with our repairman working in the rain. At this point, the front yard was completed. On this day, there was severe lightning in the area. We did not want work to continue under the threat of lightning strikes. It was not rain we were uncomfortable with, it was lightning. Lightning is dangerous. [redacted] did the right thing and asked the repairman to stop working for safety reasons. Again, [redacted] distorts and spins the facts to suit himself. Why did it take two weeks to resume work? It was the repairman that recognized the leak, not Mrs. [redacted]. Of course we paid for the repairs, that’s what honest people do. We had no way of knowing there was still a problem. We took the word of the repairman that he had fixed the leak.  The homeowner subsequently called back in June 2015 and said that there was a leak in the same area Ms. [redacted] Page Two August 20, 2015 as the valve we replaced on May 23, 2015. We returned to the [redacted] home on June 13, 2015 and turned the water to their sprinkler system off so that the area in question could dry out because it was so saturated. We called back after notice standing water and mud in the same area where the repairman had been working. Exactly where the  repairman claimed to have first “found” then “fixed” a leak. There is no need for yard work in the area of the leak, so we are rarely in that area. This is why it took a few weeks to notice we still had a leak. Also, due to the nature of this type of leak, it may have taken days or weeks for it to surface. Regardless, again we trusted the repairman in his explanation of what he was doing and that he had fixed the leak. Our repairman discussed the repair and costs with the homeowner, which the homeowner approved. Once a sprinkler system has beenrepaired and inspected by the homeowner, we present them with a bill for services rendered at that time. We were willing to give benefit of the doubt that we were not paying for the same repair twice. But due to inconsistencies in what the repairman was telling us, we believed it was entirely possible that the first repair was just a guess on the repairman’s part and thus the second repair was necessary. On this and every occasion the repairman was at the house, he repeatedly made statements about not liking to work on Saturdays and that he was in a hurry to leave so he could enjoy the rest of his weekend. He was always in too much of a hurry. On this occasion, I was charged $400 in labor for less than 3 hours of work. Please remember that this work was in addition to prior work to fix the same leak. At no time did the repairman test the entire system to ensure proper operation. He was simply trying to fix the leak. Again. And he was in a hurry to leave. Yes, we paid the bill, that’s what honest people do. And again, we assumed the leak had been fixed. But the fact remains that the repairman did not turn on and test the system for proper functioning. On July 21, 2015, Mr. We do not warranty the entire sprinkler system. Due to heavy rains for an extended period of time, the system went unused until lack of rain and heat necessitated use. Naturally, this is when I discovered the system was not functioning properly. Please remember that we had a functioning system prior to the work on “ the leak”. And here again [redacted] misrepresents what actually happened, and is now attempting to blame his customer for the defective workmanship of his employees. [redacted] did not simply ask the question, as he claims. He stated it as a fact in a very aggressive, argumentative and confrontational manner. His behavior is unacceptable. I do agree with [redacted] that any reputable sprinkler system repairman would not miss a geyser shooting water straight up in the air. This helps make the case for what I am saying. His repairman never saw a geyser shooting up in the air, because his repairman never turned the system on to test. I spoke to Mrs. [redacted] regarding their complaint when l called her after she emailed us and asked to meet with someone in management. I offered to personally go to their house and make any reasonable repairs to their sprinkler system as long as they would pay for the parts. Mrs. [redacted] was adamant that she expected us to perform all repairs at no cost to her; therefore, I declined to make any additional new repairs. This is not even close to what happened. My wife was justifiably reluctant to pay Alamo Irrigation again and again for work they were already paid to do. [redacted] has been argumentative, hostile and confrontational throughout this entire process. Had he been reasonable and fair with us at the beginning, this issue could have been resolved a long time ago. We are filing this complaint as a last resort. We have no other means by which to register our dissatisfaction. I have never filed a complaint against a business. Ever. But [redacted], you deserve this.  Ms, [redacted] Page Three August 20, 2015 Subsequently, I spoke to Mr. [redacted]. I told Mr. [redacted] that we had performed all of the repairs requested of them, and the [redacted]'s had approved them both in writing and by paying us. This is not what happened. More spin and damage control by [redacted]. During this call, I did agree to [redacted]’s proposal that they come back and do whatever was necessary to get the sprinkler system working properly, whereupon I would only pay for any parts necessary. There would be no additional labor charges. We had an agreement. We had a negotiated resolution to the problem. Until [redacted] reneged for no apparent reason, said he had to talk to the repairman again to find out “what really happened” and then refused to honor the proposal he himself had just made a few minutes prior. When I questioned what he was doing and why, he continued his angry rant, made threats and accusations and then hung-up. This is irrational behavior, and is unacceptable.   In conclusion, we made the repairs asked of the [redacted]'s to their sprinkler system during the times we were at their residence and they were satisfied. Alamo Irrigation was paid to ensure we had a functioning sprinkler system. They did not fulfill their contract to do so. Who in their right mind would pay a yard sprinkler company to NOT fix their system? This just doesn’t make sense. Again [redacted] is desperately trying to find ways to blame his customer for his repairman’s incompetence. When he writes “our repairman observed the [redacted]’s modifying their landscaping”-in the real world that means I was doing yard work. [redacted] made the mistake of trying to blame my “yard crew” for the irrigation system problems, by jumping to the mistaken conclusion that I have a “yard crew”. I don’t. I mow my own grass. There was no “landscaping” work being done during this fiasco with Alamo Irrigation. And I just wish the repairman had be more observant regarding his own work instead of looking around for excuses and someone else to blame for his own shoddy work.   We feel that we went above and beyond the call of duty to try and please the [redacted]’s. The repairs we performed for the [redacted]’s were approved by them before the repairs were made and were performed to their satisfaction and to our highest standards.   This sounds good, but no. If we were satisfied, we would have never called Alamo Irrigation back. There would have been no need.We paid nearly $1,000 to Alamo Irrigation and we did not have a functioning system when their work was complete. When we tried to resolve the issue like calm, reasonable, mature people, we were met with aggressive, accusatory behavior and distortions of the truth. This is why we will continue with our complaint. Please let me know if you have questions or need additional information. Sincerely Your, [redacted]
