We spoke with the home owner on 8/3/2017. We set the customer up on an automatic delivery schedule and provided a calendar with scheduled delivery dates. Culligan did leave multiple messages for the home-owner and the home owner acknowledges she received messages
but thought it was a sales call. Culligan offered free deliveries for any inconvenience and the customer accepted our offer and appeared to be satisfied with our response. We believe this matter is closed and the homeowner intends to remain a customer of Culligan. Thanks, Jim
I had a very pleasant conversation with *** *** on 4/at approx8:35AM I explained the services provided and the charges on the account The homeowner rents a water softener and a reverse osmosis water system customer had a past due balance on their account
and was not receiving salt for the water softener ** *** agreed to pay the account balance and requested we remove the drinking water system since they are moving and do not use it Culligan agreed to deliver bags of salt at no charge and check the water softener as part of their rental agreement The service is scheduled for Monday 4/ I believe ** *** was satisfied with our response Thank You Jim O***, General Manager
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Just to clarify however, the calls received were not regarding salt delivery which was the entire point of this complaint. The messages I had received were in regards to maintenance of my water softener system.
Sincerely,

the parts....
I'm rejecting this response because: We have no problem having the company inspect the parts. However, to clarify, this would be the FIRST time the company offered to inspect the mixing valve and pump. The company email response said "again" I understand the mixing solution part has been performed by the homeowner, however I had been mixing the solution for 4 years prior to new install with no problems at all which clearly demonstrates my ability to properly mix the solution. In addition, the problems started the day of the install in 07/15 as noted in your records. The solution was mixed that day by Culligan technician, which immediately caused cloggage in our kitchen faucet.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Culligan will agree to checking the system again. The offer of 3 pails of potassium was a good faith gesture. We can not assume responsibility for the solution mixture if the completed by the home owner.
[redacted] does acknowledge there was a leak and some water was on the floor. [redacted] responded in less than 2 hours and found less than 1 inch of water on the floor - we immediately cleaned all standing water and took pictures of the damage. We attempted to settle...
the claim directly with the customer but found the customer's quote for repairs were very inconsistent with the damages we witnessed. The quote included remove and replace a carpet 8' x 16'. There was not carpet in this area - there were a few through rugs that were not installed. We also dispute that standing water would result in the need to scrape, re-paint, and re-seal a concrete floor. The customer stated she scrapped the wall while mopping the floor. We also dispute that there was even enough water to reach the dry wall and result in the need to replace and paint the walls. [redacted] is willing to settle the claim but not for $2,000.
