To Mr***, I apologize for the inconvenience and the lack of follow up on the lost itemUnfortunately there are many items left behind in vehicles and we try very hard to get them back to their owners. Our business is very fast paced and we are working hard to move vehicles to be
cleaned and make them available for the next renters and with how fast they move it is sometimes challenging to track that vehicle down on the spot. As you noted the item was returned to you which for me it seems the right thing happened. Although I cannot be responsible for items left in the vehicles I can be responsible for the service of my team. I will refund your rental the full amount as if you did not feel you got the service we hold ourselves accountable to, then we should not charge you. My team has a tremendous amount of lost items on their plate and it is not as easy as it seems to find an item minutes after it returns. It was found and shipped back to you at your cost and I feel that is very fair
