Revdex.com 1411 K St, NW, 10" Floor Washington, DC 20005Re: Complaint ID [redacted])To Whom It May Concern:[redacted] and [redacted] signed a one year contract for the rental of the premises located at [redacted] Hyattsville, MD [redacted]. The...
contract term commenced June 1, 2014 and was valid through May 31, 2015.[redacted] inquired about the penalties for breaking her lease on March 6, 2015 and was informed that she would be responsible for all lost rent, turnover costs and showing/marketing costs of the unit should she break the lease early. The tenant decided to break the lease and turned in her keys on April 2, 2015. Accordingly, she was charged for her past due rent balance, rent due through Mar 31, 2015, and damages to the apartment in accordance with Maryland law. With regards to the allegations of bed bugs, the tenant refused pest control every time extermination was attempted. Additionally, the tenant informed us that it was never okay for any form of pest control to be performed in her apartment. The Maryland Attorney General and Health Department did not take action on [redacted]' complaints as we were ready, willing and able to exterminate, but were not allowed to do so by the tenant. A refusal by the tenant to exterminate an apartment does not constitute a valid reason to break a lease.Accordingly, we are notable to remove the balance that is contractually owed to us by the tenant.Regards,Taylor D[redacted]Alan Associates, Inc

The former tenant has only now decided to file a complaint with the Revdex.com because the balance rightfully & contractually owed to us is impacting her credit report.Any further questions or disputes from [redacted] must be addressed directly to the collections agency handling her account:Fair Collections & Outsourcing, Inc. 12304 Baltimore Ave, Suite E Beltsville, MD 20705 [redacted]Regards,Taylor D
