I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint
We did not have any odor issues before they started working in our crawl space and never have for years that we have lived in our home. The owner said a rat was in duct work which we never saw and he said duct was changed, which is not the issue. We still have odor from something they did and we feel they put holes in our duct work . The odor is coming out of all vents in our house. One of the workers said their equipment to clean duct work was not working properly or torn up. We also paid them to take out old plastic (vapor barrier) and install new. Instead of removing old plastic like they should have, they put new plastic over dirty and wet old plasticThe owner does not know what his guys did because he never came out and went under our house to check behind their work. Also we do not recall signing a contract for them to do this work. Our copy of contract was not signed. I mailed this to Revdex.com. To have a valid contract you need a signed contract from customer. We made a huge mistake using this company and should have researched them on the Revdex.com website and saw their rating of a "C" and also other complaints from another customer where they left large foot long crack in their attic space and left without completing the air duct cleaning. This customer also experienced dust coming into their house and could not get response for months also
We have owned our home for years and have hired many contractors to do upgrades/ repairs and never had any problems with any of them. We are having to pay an HVAC company to put in new duct work and also to have plastic (vapor barrier) removed and new installed. We feel this company destroyed our duct work in our house and we are having to pay another company to replace equipment due to their negligence
