I am writing to update you with respect to the above complaint regarding [redacted] lawn mower, model [redacted]. I have discussed the issues with both [redacted], his wife [redacted], and the retail dealership that sold him the machine. Upon investigation of the claims and conversations with [redacted] and the dealership, we have agreed upon a corrective course of action that should result in satisfaction for the customer.
The dealership will pick up the unit, completely replace the hydraulic system of the machine with new components, insure proper functioning of the system, and deliver the machine back to [redacted]. [redacted] Grounds Care will take care of these costs. I have also sent typical components that wear seasonally for our products, and that are not covered under warranty, directly to [redacted] for his use in the future.

the letter was addressed no longer works here, so there was some delay in getting this letter to the appropriate party. The complaint is in reference to a product that was manufactured in our facility here in Johnson Creek, WI. Our team is researching the product in question, including involvement with the retail dealership in Illinois that actually sold and subsequently serviced the product. We are attempting to get all the pertinent facts cleared up and intend to make contact with the person who issued the complaint by the close of business this Friday, December 12th. As the complaint was filed by the end-user of the product, who is not a direct customer of ours, I am not sure what the final outcome will be as we only have so much freedom to help the situation. Ultimately, any resolution will need to go through the retail dealership. We will do our best to bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion for all parties as soon as possible.
