Review: I recently purchased a 1999 Pontiac Grand am GT from [redacted]' Sport Trucks on July 9th. I noticed a week later athat the temperature on the car got extremely higher than expected, and called [redacted] who sold me the car. I left a message and he did not respond. Then a week later I took the car up to the local mechanic here in town, and he said to get the car serviced as soon as possible. I tried again to contact the business with no response. The next thing that happend on the week of July 29 was when we drove the car for a short distance, that we noticed the coolant light came on. I looked for a coolant leak, and found that it had gone into the oil pan which means a blown head gasket. I repeatedly tried to contact [redacted]'s sport truck to get help with no response. So by now it was at the point where I had to call a mechanic to get the car worked on, as my son will need this to go to school soon. I took the car down to Bauschs Auto in Kieler Wisconsin where he replaced the head gasket, but after the he put antifreeze back in the coolant went right back in the oil pan as he then explained that the car will need a new engine as the head is now cracked. I still continued in the mean time to call [redacted]'s sport truck business with calls and text messages to his cellphone with no response. This is going to cost more than the car is worth by the time everything is done possibly, and need help as the car is not even drivable at this point.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the owner of [redacted]'s Sport Trucks pay for all costs, and decide if he wants me to have the rest of the work done, or have him do the repairs himself. If he is going to do the work himself he would have to come down at get the towed up there as it is not drivable.
