Alarm Brokers of Florida Reviews (%countItem)

Great Service, Very knowledgeable, very friendly and Arrived promptly. Will definitely refer to friends and family

Exceptional Customer Care, knowledgeable, value conscious, professional and so respectful of our home.

During the installation of my new alarm system, *** (Owner of Alarm Brokers of Florida, LLC, License #EGXXXXXXXX) promised a free gift of a Schlage Camelot Satin Nickel Sense Smart Lock. After months of correspondence this free gift was never received.

In addition, when the alarm touch panel failed to stop working, *** was scheduled to come out to repair the unit on July 7th, 2018. Since then he has not picked up phone calls, returned text messages, responded to a formal request from Brink's Security after I filed a complaint, nor has the certified letter my lawyer sent been received since the address listed on the contract appears to be invalid.

Desired Outcome

Repair My lawyers have advised that in accordance to Fla. Stat. ***, we are authorized to treble damages for the Smart Lock in the amount of $***. In addition, we request that Alarm Brokers of Florida, LLC is to repair / replace the Honeywell Tuxedo or fully release and cancel the Alarm Monitoring Agreement and Installation Agreement within 10 days from the receipt of this complaint.

Customer Mr. *** has sent in request to Revdex.com to make a complaint. Today, August 25th we are responding to the complaint after gathering all supporting documents. A service call was scheduled for Saturday July 7th,2018 in which we had called on Friday from X-XXX-XXX-XXXX to confirm all Saturday appointments with no response. Mr. has declined any service calls from my company, Alarm Brokers of Florida, LLC as per his email sent on July 11, 2018 at 12:22am and I quote "I don't want you in my house again." we can provide the email as proof to his request. He contacted *** (monitoring company) and created a service ticket (#XXXXXXXXX). We had it reassigned to another sister dealer which was later recalled due to no response from customer and reassigned to a *** Technician. As per email and phone call with *** customer not only has declined all attempts to have the Keypad fixed but had called in on 08/23/XXXX X:XXam Central time to cancel job and I quote per notes "vcw. *** p. cci cxl job panel fixed r. cxed" which translate to Verified caller *** per customer cancel job panel fixed request cancelled. (Copy of Screenshot of communication can be provided as well as supporting document) At the moment he has either cancelled job to show no one has gone out or the panel is working 100% we cannot confirm due to him not picking up a call from *** on 08/25/2018.

About the free door lock, in his contract which was signed by him there is no door lock added on his job as *** does not service these devices. As a courtesy promotion he was he was mailed out by Fedex a door lock from ***, the maker of Schlage Door locks but were unsuccessful and left a door tag. Do keep in mind he does live in a newer community so him nor I have any way of confirming if the door tag was left. He did in fact send me a copy of the email from Alligion Dated back from *** 11th 2018 at 4:24PM "This is your case #. You can respond to this e-mail address with the picture of the white sticker" I had also offered him to mail one out to him since the delay but because it was a delivery issue we tried again with ***. As of 08/25/2018 we have contacted them to send a new lock via FedEx again as we called them at the X-XXX-XXX-XXXX number expected delivery date is in by Thursday. I was told by *** that the representative from ***, *** was no longer with the company and Mr. took over today.

If needed I have all supporting documents from this complaint. Mr. has made it a point to make this into something bigger than it is by attacking our social media pages "Yelp!,Facebook, Google Pages and sending the complaint to the State of Florida. Mr. is under a contract (eContract# XXXXXX) with *** which at his own will signed and is responsible for. He is requesting to be released with no penalty charges. At no point has his system not been able to work with the alarm company and has gone out of his way to ignore all parties by using "a lawyer has been contacted" to get out of a binding contract. At the moment as per all supporting documents his Keypad is working and the door lock has been processed. I ask complaint to be closed and if any further questions please feel free to contact me at the information provided.
