We regret that any of our customers feel they had a negative experience with Alarm Detection Systems. We however, stand behind our work and customer service practices on this project. We were asked to perform a service call that required...

custom parts. We informed the customer of the cost and we completed the task in a timely manner and billed a competitive industry rate. Specifically, the customer signed off on the service ticket which clearly indicated the price of the parts and the labor. It was not until after the fact that the customer complained about the amount refused to pay.

I have been told price is $569. I was present when order was placed and I was listening to a conversation during placing an order. When work was completed I was not aware of price change. Ticket was wrintten not clear (purposely). When I received invoice price was changed to 100% markup. I even offer to pay markup of 25% but was cynically rejected by VP of the company.

It is common practice in the alarm industry to have an agreement auto renew. This is necessary due to the monthly charge verses...

the possible liability we face if there is a loss. The agreement affords the alarm company this needed protection. As to the original and renewal term it is boldly printed above the signature line so the customer can read it before signing. As a company we have negotiated these terms hundreds of times with our customers. For whatever reason Mr. [redacted] did not ask for different terms prior to signing the agreement. Today, for whatever reason, he is asking to renegotiate his terms. Since an unhappy customer is not what we desire I am modifying the renewal term to a month to month term.
