Dear Revdex.com,? ? ? Mr [redacted] has contracted (signed contract (which we e-mailed to him)) with Alarmguard for services which include any charges for alarms (or any fees) that the city of Tacoma has responded to and has invoiced us for.? He did call and talked to a MrB***.? Mr B [redacted] said that "Mr [redacted] was one of the rudest people that he has ever dealt with".? Mr [redacted] was continually yelling and would not let MrB [redacted] speak without interruption.? When Mr [redacted] called back and apologized, MrB [redacted] agreed to look into this matter.? After MrB***'s inquiry, the city of Tacoma agreed to reverse the charge and a full credit was issued to his account.? Mr [redacted] now wants his monitoring money that was paid for the year returned.? There has not been any fault in Alarmguard's service or monitoring service provided to Mr***.? His alarm was responded to correctly.? As the contract clearly states Alarmguard is happy to stop monitoring if notified one month before the anniversary date.? Mr***'s anniversary date is July of each yearMr [redacted] gave notice in writing on August 25th 2015.? I informed Mr [redacted] that if he wished, Alarmguard could monitor his alarm system until June 30th 2016, so that he would not lose any money.? He declined this offer.? I also had a difficult time talking with Mr***.? No refund is due.? His account was credited for the alarm charge from the City of Tacoma.? Thank you for your help in this matter.? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:1- If alarmgaurd did what they? were supposed to do in the first place we would not have an issue to start with but they chose what serves there interest and not? the customer.Alarmgaurd did not do there job contesting the fine and were refusing to do? so.? I did leave messages with the police incident report # that clearly states attempted burglary? (one on each of there phone line) to get a message that the fine needs to be paid I did call MrB [redacted] who gave me a deaf ear, was reminded again that police report? was not a alarm, yet he was insisting it was instead of asking for a copyHe did refused to contact the city when asked or give me the contact infoof the person at the city who is insisting on paying the fine"Google her name he said"?!.? Rude is the way he handeled the issue to end it by hanging up the phoneMrB [redacted] was called by the city to resolve the matter and I dont beleive he did attempt to call themI did call back to talk to the manager and give him/her an update about my conversation with the city and there employee behaviour to find out he was the managerUpdate was given and he was requested to call me when he hears back from the cityTwo days later he did and he was informed that there services are no longer neededHe requested some thing in writing and I did send them an email.2- After being treated in a disrespectful maner,? been a customer since 04,? there is no way on earth that I would accept dealling with? Alarmgaurd nor any one should.3- As my complaint clearly indicates, I have asked for the remaining months prepaid balance and not the whole year.It surprises me that? the honor wants? to keep the unused balance? and raises? too many questions in my mind about there bussiness practices .?
