Alashek General Contracting

Alashek General Contracting renovated the house I just recently purchased. I met the owner during our inspection. Meeting the owner of the company during our inspection did not inspire confidence and unfortunately we have experienced many problems with the renovation.

To be very blunt, his work shows very little pride, experience, attention to detail and a great deal of lack of integrity. AGC cuts corner and just "gets the job done," and when the job is done, it's done very poorly. The state of work shows that either ACG has no experience nor education in renovations. The plumbing in a bathroom was installed upside down, the concrete that was busted up to put in a tub was left surrounding the tub (not cleaned out!), ACG placed shingles over a hole in the roof instead of fixing with plywood first, many shingles were not nailed down, shingles were installed incorrectly, and the roof fails to meet code. There is a wall under a vanity that was left completely open (no drywall). Construction trash was thrown in the yard, left on the roof, left in the ceiling and thrown in the woods behind the house. The tiling in bathroom showers are very uneven. No outside vent was placed for the dryer.

To make matters even worse, when questioned about the problems, ACG lied out right several times and failed to take responsibility or fix any of the issues.

I was also told that during renovations, ACG had his CHILDREN at the job site working on the house!

Unfortunately just about all of these problems were revealed once we started living in the home and seeing everything in detail. I believe during the home buying process we were so excited about buying the house and at first glance it looked great.

I would never never recommend ACG to a friend, nor to an enemy! Nor would I want ACG to "fix" or to be in my home ever again. ACG has no intergrity or skill.
