We are a PPO provider with the patients insurance plan and therefore don't set the prices, they doThe patient was scheduled for a full physical therapy evaluation as well as mins of therapyThis was discussed with her over the phone and at the time of the visitHer deductible was not met and
in accordance with our PPO contract and her contract, we attempted to collect the amount we were told to by her insurance planWhen she refused to pay for her scheduled services, we explained our no show fee policy 2x and that if she had any issues with the cost to contact her insurance carrierThe fee will stand as is, due to the patient not wanting to pay for her scheduled services

Please pay your bill, as you received services without paying for them

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:The information was not conveyed as the business claims I showed up for the appointment(it was not a "no show")What I was told previous to the appointment was I was going to physical therapy specifically for my neck This did not require a full body evaluation at a cost of over $ I came to the appointment and was then told to pay over $or if I didn't then I would be charged $for a "no show" fee I should not have to be forced to pay for services I didn't request and I should not be charged $for not accepting the services I didn't request This is unbelievable how intransigent this business is in attempting to charge me for a "no show" fee I was not told prior to the appointment as the business claims the cost and the scope of the services they scheduled The business must remove the $"no show" fee from my account as it is fraudulentI have received an evaluation and physical therapy for my neck at another provider for less than $400.Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I was told I was scheduling a physical therapy session for only my neck. This was discussed with the referring doctor who I had seen for tightness in my neck.  I was never told nor did I want a full body physical therapy evaluation in addition to physical therapy on my neck at a cost of over $800.  This is an example of the provider attempting to schedule and charge me(and the insurance company) for expensive, unneeded and unrequested services. I have had a physical therapy evaluation of my neck in addition to a physical therapy session and the charges totaled around $300 from another provider. Alaska Neurology Center's rude insistence that I pay them $100 for a no show fee for not being forced to accept services I didn't request and when I was standing right in their office is further example of how  they attempt to gouge their patients one way or another. The no show fee charged to my account should be reversed immediately.Sincerely,[redacted]
