I am sorry that Mr*** is unhappyIt was a honest mistake the charging of $200.00, I am aware that it was to be for $Mr*** at the time of making the reservation on 1/27/that it was non-refundableI called Mr*** on the 28th @ 4:(which he was to have picked up at
9:that morning)He told me that he wanted to change the date of rental to 2/4/@9:I accommodated him with that change. He was a NO SHOW on the 4th as requestedHe then called on Friday 2/17/very confrontational with all the bad things he said he found about the business and was ready for an attackI told him to call me on Monday 2/20/as the one who helps me would be able to look at the paperworkHe called on that date I informed him after looking at the paperwork that I had mistakenly charged him $and that I would gladly refund him the $as the reservation charge of $was non-refundableI refunded him that $right after he calledI have been in business form years and I have through that time had customer just like him who feels that they are being taken advantage of, even though he was aware of the procedure for rentingWhen making a reservation and having a no show this can cause a lost of revenue because on the books it shows the unit(s) already reserved so that means it is unavailable to other customersExample: If he had come in after reserving the unit and was told that it was unavailable how would he feel? He should have no more issue with this matter has he has been refunded his $With the likes of this kind of customer businesses find it very difficult to maintain any respect for them and try to accommodate when they fail the agreement made

in regards to this complaint, I can say the following;  First of all I am not involved with the Revdex.com but do appreciate you getting ahold of me.   First of all, the above customer came back to my location with the side by side and the complaint about the charge and I explained to her...

 that during the walk around BEFORE the customer takes the unit that it is explained and showed to her the number one places that can be damaged and to try to avoid doing, as well as the side panels I have the customer check the CV axels which is another extreme high damage areas of these toys.   I have been doing this for 12 years and have the same exact walk around policy with EVERY customer so that this problem does not arise.   During this walk around, I also go over all operating procedures with he machine so it I am protected in all areas.  These are toys that people are going to want to ride over boulders and rocks , of course they are going to get damaged if they are not careful    i can not take the depreciation of the machine if the customer does not pay for the damages.  i am a small business owner.  The customer before taking any toy fills out a contract stating that they will pay for all damages to my unit.  in exact, the contract states, release of liability and indemnification agreement.    every customer should read this and IS told in regards to this contract that they are responsible for any and all damages, parts and labor.  The customer in question was NOT charged labor, only replacement of the part that was damaged which the customer signed in the contract.In my opinion, this customer has a mother or mother in law who is an attorney and has the lawyer mentality.  I even questioned her on the way she was interrogating me over the subject and she explained to me she was in fact an attorney.  I just got out of a $ 3 million dollar lawsuit over and AND/OR on a registration.  Our world is rotting because of attorneys.

I am rejecting this response because:  I do not believe the double charge was a mistake. "No Show" policy was NEVER discussed in any way and was told that I could use it any time within 30 days and presented it as no big deal and now wants to exclaim that this is destroying his business. What this business does not want to accept is that because of them charging me double right off the bat made me very wary about what issues I would encounter next especially after seeing several similar experiences by other consumers and negative reviews just like this. Strange how all these overcharges are NEVER in the customers favor. All "honest" mistakes and I'm sure that all the other negative reviews were all the customers fault too.
