Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
*** ***

We are aware of Ms***s situation and the concrete sidewalk installation is scheduled for early next week, here was no excuse for the initial confusion but hopefully we can subsequently make the situation right once the sidewalk is completed. It has become our habit to make 'happy
calls' once our paving/concrete projects are completed for the very reason mentioned hereWe do in fact have two crews-one for concrete and one for the blacktop/asphalt projectsIf there are any unresolved issues, it is our hope that by reaching out to our customers directly, these issues can be resolved in a timely manner. This spring has not been kind to us and concrete is a much more sensitive product than asphalt If the temperatures drop at night or if there is rain we have no other alternative but to rescheduleWe have very professional crews and they are particular about their finished productIf they feel the project will be compromised in any way they will put it on holdWe understand this can be frustrating to our customersIn the end, however, we expect that a quality job will compensate for any perceived failure on our partWe firmly believe here at Kingsview that a happy customer is a return customer and doing anything less than an A+ job is not acceptableFeedback from our customers is always appreciatedBusiness is a dynamic process and our customers are our most valued resource in assuring that we continue to provide the best in customer service.

The consumer called to say the job is finished and she is satisfied with the work

Kingsview? Enterprises Inchas been a family owned business for over years and maintains a solid reputation within the communityIn all my years, I have dealt with many types of customers but I can honestly say that *** has been one of the hardest and most difficult customers I have had
to deal withThat being said-I realize that an asphalt driveway is a large investment for anyoneI always try to keep that in mind when dealing with customers and respect the fact that this type of investment should not be taken lightly.? Initially, she was doing her due diligence and getting multiple estimate, on her drivewayMost were upwards of $16,OOO.OOShe said she had a budget of $10,and I told her I would work with herWe put down an airport top one evening late and could not finish with the loads we hadWe came back and finished the small remainder of the drivewayThis was unfortunate because she knew that the remainder portion was not consistent and a small seam showed were the older and new blacktop metI assured her that seal coating the next year would make the driveway seamlessShe paid us the full? $lO,OOO.OO initially but cancelled the check a few days laterI did stop to see the project when she was not home but met with her and her husband personally and spoke with her multiple timesAfter we paved an asphalt top, at no cost to *** and a personal visit she seemed satisfied and gave us a replacement check for $10,000.00.? She still was unhappy so this year, in an attempt to make her happy, her driveway was one of the first to be seal coatedOnce again we did not charge herAfter the sealing she was unhappy as now there were tire marks caused from turning the wheels in the drivewayWhen the weather is hot marks can appear in the driveway(Also it should be noted, that the neighbor next door had their driveway done by another paving company and that driveway has actual ruts.) However, we took rare of the new issue in a timely basis at no charge once againBy my calculations the current value of her driveway is now closer to $20,000.00.? When we complete a project it is our policy to send out a knowledgeable fact Sheet (*See Attached)This details the care and maintenance of new asphaltOne of the main issues discussed is the fact that it takes (two) to 3(three) years for asphalt driveways to harden completelySpecial care needs to be taken, especially on very hot days, as the asphalt could be softerNo sharp objects, such as a shovel, kick stand or chair should be put on the asphalt pavement as it could sink inNot unusual! We do? attempt to make customers well aware of this situation.? I have tried to be patient with her but my attempts have been futileAt this point I'm not sure what else we can do to make her happy with the projectWe have put down an asphalt binder, asphalt top, seal coated and repaired the drivewayMy advice to her would be to wait, take care of the existing? driveway as you have a great value there and allow time for the driveway to harden.?
