Yes we agree that you rejected to have the vehicle repaired in January If that is the case it should have to taken off our lot at that point If you came to remove the tags then arrangements should of been made to remove the vehicle We are not a storage lot for vehicles When we contacted you in June that was a last attempt to have the vehicle removed from our lot When it wasn't we had the vehicle towed away

Yes we agree that you rejected to have the vehicle repaired in January. If that is the case it should have to taken off our lot at that point. If you came to remove the tags then arrangements should of been made to remove the vehicle. We are not a storage lot for vehicles. When we contacted you in June that was a last attempt to have the vehicle removed from our lot. When it wasn't we had the vehicle towed away

The vehicle was originally towed in with no information form the tow company as to who's vehicle it was or any contact information. Once the owner finally contacted us after several days to ask us to look at the vehicle we proceeded to diagnose the issues. We then made several attempts
to contact them in regards to the repair costs to the vehicle and received no response for several months. The vehicle sat on our lot this whole time as we continued to wait for the owner to contact us. Once they finally did we quoted them the repair costs for the vehicle. We then waited several more weeks before they informed us they would not have the vehicle repaired. At that time we informed the owner that they needed to pick up the vehicle by the end of the following week or we would have it towed off our lot. They never responded and did not have the vehicle removed from our lot so we had it towed. We believe we gave the customer more than enough time to pick up the vehicle

I am rejecting this response because:No one has contacted us until June 2017 (almost a year after the vehicle broke down), not January like they claim. After multiple attempts to find out the status of the repair and no response, it was deemed not repairable and reported to DMV (and all this time we've been paying taxes and insurance for it). So we've been given a week to remove the vehicle from their lot, when they had it sitting there for months and ignoring our attempts to find out the status of the repair. Regards,

Review: Before I arrived at Alban Tire for a state inspection, my recreational vehicle (RV) was running fine. After I failed my inspection, the manager named [redacted] said I would have to get brake calipers for my RV. Since I did not have the estimated $600 to fix the repair, I drove my RV back to the RV storage lot. On my way to the lot, I smelled a burning scent coming from my front right tire area, which is the same area they told me the calipers would need replacing. I called the manager and he said he would not fix this problem for free. I feel he should because the unit did not have the burning smell until I brought it into their shop.Desired Settlement: Repair and replace the dependency and pass my RV inspection.

Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC and Eastern Pennsylvania RE: Complain ID [redacted]

In regards to the customer's complaint Alban Tire feels that we have done nothing wrong. The vehicle came in for a State Safety Inspection, which we performed and had to fail the vehicle due to the front calipers sticking- We informed the customer as to why the vehicle was failing and gave the customer a quote to repair the calipers so that the vehicle could pass the Safety Inspection. The customer declined the service, but actually wanted Alban Tire to pass the vehicle based on them promising to fix the calipers themselves when they returned home. Alban Tire declined to do this because this would be against the law and would cause the inspector to lose his license and the shop to lose their inspection station privileges. The customer's complaint of smelling a burning scent is directly related to why Alban Tire failed the vehicle. If the customer is claiming that Alban Tire purposely altered the vehicle in some way so that it would fail then we apologize they feel this way, but can assure them that is not the case and would never alter a vehicle on purpose and put the driver of the vehicle in such danger by doing so. When the customer called back in our Service Manager simply told him Alban Tire was not responsible for fixing the vehicle for free, which we stand by that decision -

Thanks

I am rejecting this response because: I believe I did not have this problem prior to arriving at this facility. I will get a second opinion to refute their claim. Please let me know of any next step you as Revdex.com recommend.

Review: Purchased 4 tires from ALBAN Tires on Aug.28, 2012,,invoice #[redacted], had them mounted with no problems.drove home in West Virginia and the tires were making a thumping noise. Advised [redacted], that tires were not good, I made arrangement to drop off vehicle to ALBAN Tire to allies the problem, they admitted that they were not right and ordered another set with matching DOT numbers.on September 4th. 2012 they mounted (4) [redacted] Continental Pure Contact tires. Invoice number [redacted] ;to mount on my 2012 VW Golf. I noticed; when I arrived to pick up my vehicle that all for of the wheels on my 2012 Golf were damaged. The right rear tire seemed to have a damage, liken of someone hitting a curb.with major scrape. The other three tires had big chips taken out. Liken to; not protecting the wheel from becoming damaged, due to mounting or dismounting the tire. I advised the [redacted] that there is a problem, he agreed that before the vehicle came in, he took pictures with his phone and he admitted there was a problem. he brought the technician out to view the damage.[redacted] first reaction was to collect the money and get me out the door.I advised [redacted] that this was not professional and would like my wheels fixed. I brought the vehicle in with no problems, I would have expected to get my vehicle back with no problems. [redacted] still charges me on September 4th for mounting and dismounting the second set of tires for $63.00. I said to Doug, by charging me this 63.00 dollars, your confident that this is professional business practice? His reply was , yes. He charges my [redacted]. I advised him that someone or myself will be in contact with him to resolve the issue. I then called my insurance company and I have not heard from them yet.Desired Settlement: Would like 4 aluminum wheels replaced ,new for my 2012 VW Golf from the dealer in [redacted] Md.Have the dealer mount and dismount my new tires and balance them at ALBAN Tires expense.

Subject: Re: Fwd: You have a new message from the Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania complaint #[redacted].

To: [email protected]

We already refunded the customers total expense on Invoice #[redacted] on Sept. 9th, that was not referenced in the complaint. We only damaged 1 wheel, not all 4 wheels. We had set up an appointment for the customer to come in and we were going to repair the damage and the customer cancelled the appointment.

Thanks
