I've been trying for over a month to get them to release my medical records to my new doctors office. I've moved out of state, and currently not able to physically pick them up and pay the twenty dollar fee they require you to pay in order to get your records. I've left multiple voicemails asking them to send my records. I have faxed them a release of my records and the fax number to fax them to. I've called over thirty times, no one will answer the calls, my employer has called multiple times during business hours, no answer. They refuse to release my medical records to me or my new doctors office. Because they are refusing to send my records, answer their phones, or return my voicemails. I'm not able to give my employer my medical records that are needed in order for me to keep my job. I have to take medication daily for a life long medical condition that I have. I have been out of my medicine for two weeks because they're office refuses to let me refill it. They said I haven't had an appointment for the refill but I went at the end of January before I moved and paid $100 out of pocket for the appointment that is required to evaluate my condition, at the appointment they called in the prescription. Which means I'm still living with my medical condition. My health is declining because I cannot refill my medicine, and I am about to lose my job because I cannot give them my medical records, all because this doctors office refuses to give me or my new doctors office access to my medical records after giving verbal and a hand written release of records. One of their employees also text messaged me telling me not to contact the office and ask for anything because I wrote a bad review of the business.
