Review: I put a deposit of $300.00 on a truck on 5/** that I was interested in purchasing. And I was told I would get the deposit back if I decided other wise that they was 3 other people looking at this truck so I agreed. As I was also told I would get a low interest rate. when I went to purchase the truck Prior and without signing any papers and also told the bank interest rate was 23% I felt it was Very High and backed out. as ** whom I spoke with didn't keep his agreement and then proceeded to tell me our deposits are "non refundable" I had dealt with 3 dealerships last year as I bought a car and got all 3 deposits back as I am aware it is illegal to keep your deposit. I have a hand writing receipt from the man ** from Albee Motors long Island car and truck ..the reason for me not buying the truck is 1 the truck that my interest rate @ 23% was outrageous as I told him it was and to add I just purchased a truck after this for 11.9 % interest rate @ GMCDesired Settlement: I would just want my 300.00 cash back I'm upset that it had to come to this very bad business from Albee Motors long Island Car & Truck

To whom it may concern, [redacted] came into our dealership to purchase a truck, our conversation started with [redacted] saying his credit was way below average, and he did Not have a job on the books, that he really needed this truck, we had gotten [redacted] approved he was more than happy called numerous of times asking to detail the truck and get it ready. We had sent the truck out to prepare it for inspection which we spent money on making the truck 100 percent in perfect running order, detailed the truck completed all of [redacted]'s paper work, shortly before [redacted] was supposed to come and take delivery of his truck he had called and said his brother would not allow him to purchase the truck, we agreed over the phone that the deposit was not going to be able to get refunded do to the work Albee motors invested into the truck.
