we bought a factory reconditioned motor from them in 2014 at a cost of $[redacted]. before we bought it we asked for a printout of the motor and was told there wasn't one. we have never bought a motor before and didn't know. so we took our boat and new motor home and used it about 4 or 5 times and then winter came and didn't use it. we were given 3 months warranty with this motor so that went by and come spring we started to use it again. after a few trips the motor started sputtering and was not running right. we asked [redacted]to have a look and when we took it to them they said the shims needed to be done as with all reconditioned motors. when we first bought the motor they did not tell us this needed to be done. this was 10 months after we bought the motor. so we had the work done at a cost of $[redacted]we took it to a different company and asked for a printout of the motor and found out that it had almost 2000 hours on it had been overheated 33 times had over-revolution 23 times and many other issues in its past. so we asked [redacted]to take another look at it as they had not fixed it they said maybe in the fall they would have time for us as they were very busy. so again we have no boat for a second summer. we asked for our money back as it fixed nothing and they refused. we still don't have the use of our boat and it is now july 2016 . The manager has offered to take $[redacted] off the price of a replacement motor.we are very unhappy with this company.
