Albert Cook Plumbing Company

They did our plumbing in our new home about 7 years ago. We had them out 6 times the 1st year to repair leaks.Now 7 years later we are tearing out walls and redoing pipe lines on something that has been leaking since we moved in. Come to find out all the plumbing in this bathroom is wrong. And the inspector could not have seen it since the toilet was already installed. Desired SettlementI wish they would come and pay for all the repairs we are having to deal with. The sink, toilet, and shower will have to be redone. As well as all the ceiling and walls that will have to be redone.

Plumbing installation not to code. Simple faucet repair was not done right. Customer service is horrid.We moved into a new construction house in November 2013. The builder used this plumbing company for installation and warranty repairs. By May 2014, the coupling to the water main broke and was gushing water into the street. Because it was a Saturday, I had to call a reputable plumber who told me that the coupling was not even installed to code, and he had no idea how our house was able to pass inspection. At the beginning of June, I noticed our kitchen faucet was leaking, so I filed a warranty request on it. The plumber called, and did not even identify himself. He just said a plumber is on the way to your house. He didn't even ask if that was a good time. The plumber they sent said he fixed the faucet, but guess what, it's still dripping. Today, June 3 2014, we got our [redacted] bill and our water usage was really high. According to [redacted], it's due to a leak. The plumber came out. After standing out in the street for 10 minutes, he knocked on the door and told me there was no leak. I firmly explained to him that there was, and I didn't care who he had to call or what he had to dig up. I wanted the leak found. Ten minutes later I looked out my front door, and he had left! When I called the company back, they told me that the plumber said I told him to leave. WHAT A LIAR!!! Our issues are still unresolved. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE, EVER!!!Desired SettlementI just want the leak found and fixed, and my water bill payed by the builder.

I will NEVER deal with this company again. When I called to discuss billing he said, "Send me a check and never the [redacted] call me again." I have never been so disrespected, never poorly treated. These people are HORRIBLE. They tried to overcharge me for time they did not spend here. DISHONEST. STAY AWAY!!!","neg-2

I don't wish a resolution, I wish to state a dissatisfaction with the Albert Cook Plumbing company. We bought new bath tub fixtures for a bath room. I removed the existing faucet to simply install the new faucet. As I removed the existing faucet, I saw that apparently whomever installed the original plumbing had bent the 1/2" copper water pipe connection to the faucet valve. I am not a plumber and wanted no part of repairing the piping. I called the Albert Cook Plumbing Company and told them my issue. They sent an employee to our home. He looked at the issue and told me he could not repair the 1/2" pipe connection, or replace the water valve, and left our home! I turned off the water main, removed the valve, went to a local plumbing supply house and I bought the replacement valve. I installed the valve using compression fittings bought in a "big box" store". I received an invoice from Albert Cook Plumbing for $128.00 for their visit to tell me they could not perform the plumbing task. I paid the invoice and I am happy to be disassociated with them. If the company can't perform a simple task as the one we had, they certainly don't need to perform any complex plumbing applications. Needless to say, any reference I will give to friends, relatives, or anyone will be a very negative reference.","neg-1
