I was a new patient at Seasons. I had made an appointment 3 weeks prior. Upon arrival, I completed paperwork and was told I would be seen shortly. 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, they let me know the doctor I was supposed to have seen was in an emergency surgery. They asked if I was ok with seeing someone else, and I said yes, I just wanted to be seen. The front desk lady told me to have a seat and someone would be with me soon. I sat there another 30 minutes before my name was called. A nurse took me back and checked all the vitals, and took me to my exam room. She told me the nurse practitioner or doctor would be in shortly. It was close to an hour I was sitting in that room before anyone came into my room. I was told I needed to reschedule because no one was there to do my examination, and it was closing time. At no point was I informed no one would see me. Everyone I came in contact with told me I would be seen. I had heard nurses outside my door talking and they even said they did not have time to see patient in exam room x. I was there for nearly 3 hours being told I would be seen but when it came down to it, it was closing time on a Friday evening and I wasn't as important to them, as them beginning their weekend. I have never been treated that way by any medical facility. The word sorry was used but you could tell it was a formality of using the word, and me, a paying patients time, life and concerns did not matter. Later that night, the doctor who was supposed to have seen me called to apologize. I did not feel as it was her fault because things happen and surgeries are needed. The rest of the "professionals" there were the ones at fault. She went on to talk about how they were short staffed and 3 doctors were on vacation. I did not think that was my fault, nor did I care. I was treated as a nobody and no one seemed to see an error in that aspect. I had heard nothing but great things about seasons, and that is why I chose them as the first female facility for me to attend. My nerves were shot and their lack of compassion was very disappointing.
