This complain has not basis. Customer has signed a contract for custom build two patio doors and window with brown color outside and white on a inside. We install both products with accordance to a contract on 3/1/16. Both products are painted but this is the ONLY way to achieve contrasting colors...

in vinyl windows.  We did speak with a customer about this issue on 3/8/26 and we agreed on a meeting scheduled for 3/15/16. The way we see it, customer misrepresenting the information in order to received some kind of compensation.

Review: I had called this company to purchase and install 7 windows and an entry door. They performed all the work as we agreed upon and the price seemed fair. The issue I have is that when my basement windows were being worked on by the installers, they had damaged the alarm wires where they come out of the wall. Alco Windows is claiming that I am responsible for disconnecting and reconnecting my alarm system. I did disconnect the system, but these wires are HARD WIRED INTO THE WALL and I have no way of "disconnecting" them. Alco is NOT taking responsibility for the damage and I had to pay my alarm company $200 to have it fixed.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of $200 paid to my alarm company.

ALCO Windows contract clearly

defines scope of our responsibilities in regards to alarm system (see attached). We

have also discussed it with a customer before he signed a contract. We have no

way of verifying before or after installation if customer's alarm system functions properly or how it’s

wired and interconnected. We have also offered customer to pay 50% of his

expense as one time courtesy in order to satisfy this complaint. Based on his actions, customer has declined our offer.
