Aldayna Stone Care & Maintenance Service Reviews (2)

I used this expensive service two years ago. work was fine, owner was not. rude and indifferent. Stood me up for second job. No explanation. He knows his marble, but looks to increase cost by wanting to do more than you ask for. We agreed on a price for the work desired and he suggested I do a whole wall of marble to restore the shine. I hesitated because it seemed utterly unnecessary. But he simply was discourteous and would not return calls even though I had decided to do what he wanted rather than what I really needed

Review: We had our floors refinished the end of December. I noticed that the tile started to chip and the grout was chipped and worn away. I called within a week of service and never got a response. I proceeded to leave 4 additonal messages. On the fifth try I reached a person and left a message. The owner finally called me back. I explained the situation with the floor and asked if he could come out to look at it. I was told he couldn't come that week but would come the next week. The next week came and went and still no call. I have left two more messages and have gotten no response. We are now going on 6 weeks since the floors were done.Desired Settlement: I would like the floor to be repaired or have my $350 paid for the kitchen floor to be refunded so that I can have someone else repair it.

I am rejecting this response because: It is a complete lie!The owner did not contact me until I left 2-3 messages on his answering machine and 3 weeks went by. Even then he told me he couldn't come to see the floor until "next week". He did not come or call the next week and I then contacted the Revdex.com. A few more weeks went by and just this past Friday he called me. (This is only the 2nd time in 2 months) His claim that he has tried to reach me numerous times and that I haven't gotten back to them is an outright lie. On Friday after the phone call he told me he would stop by that night. He did come over and denied everything, once again lying. He said his company did not cause the chips in the grout and that I should get a professional opinion and then I would "apologize" to him. I told him that I did get 2 professional opinions and that they said something was used on the floor that was too rough and wore away the top layer of grout. He then denied the amount of phone calls I made to his office and said he tried a few times to contact me. I asked if that was the truth why didn't he leave a message and he had no response to that. He was rude and accused us of lying about the floor. We told him we wanted our money back for the job ($350) and he refused. He left without anything getting resolved and said he would think about it and get back to us the next day. Of course the next day was Saturday and we have yet to hear from him. It is now Monday night. We are now contemplating whether or not to file in small claims court.

On Friday 1/20/2015 at 5pm I was finally able to see Mrs. [redacted] It has been a nightmare trying to phone her. Apparently she doesnt get home until late, thats why I have been unable to reach her by phone. We did a lot of other work there besides her complaint, which she was very happy with. We returned phone calls but did not always leave a message. If necessary we can look up our phone records to prove that. I inspected her floor on 2/20 and determined that her complaint was unjustified as I suspected. Our process had nothing to do with the chips she showed me. Her floor is travertine which from time to time holes will appear, as is the nature of the stone. She showed me grout lines which are recessed when the floor was originally installed, which is normal saying grout came out since we were there. She did have a couple of chips (unrelated to us) that I offered to fill, but not guarantee any others that may surface. She refused that option and agreed to disagree with me. I will refund a partial amount to her even though we are not at fault just to end this matter.
