My wife, and I were so excited when we first moved into our new renovated apartment at Alden Parks’ Cambridge buildingIt was beautiful, spacious and seemed like the perfect place to welcome our newborn into the worldHowever, while we still love our apartment, management here at Alden Park is awful, and is making our lives miserableFirst we have the issue of the fire alarms going off all the timeWe've been told that it's due to the ongoing construction, which is really frustrating since we moved into the Cambridge building specifically because we were told that construction wouldn't affect usThe alarms are loud, and have become so frequent that now most people are just ignoring them, and not evacuatingWe're also concerned for our newborns hearing, as the fire alarms are incredibly loud, and she's so young she can't cover her ears like we canWe're also having issues with our energy billAfter the first month went by, we got worried that we hadn't received our bill so we called the office and they assured us that it was pretty for the process to drag out over a couple monthsWe're now on month 5, and we finally had to reach out to the energy company directly to find out what was goingTurns out, Alden Park still hasn't assigned us to the apartment we're living in, and if we're not in the system, the energy company isn't going to send us a billWe talked to one of the property managers at Alden to resolve the issue, they said they would handle it, and get back to usFast forward a few weeks: still no bill, and they never got back to usOur first couple months here at Alden Park were great, and we still love the apartment itself, but the construction, and the management is slowly making the place unlivable
