Alder Ridge Apartments

Review: I was deployed to Afghanistan in June of 2013, I had an apartment with Alder Ridge. I gave my mother POA for my deployment from June 2013 to May 2014. She went to the apartments on June 28, 2013 to give 30 day notice and break the lease due to federal law. She paid July rent. Even thought there was money in my account the check was returned. My mother was there several times in July and in the office - this was never told to her by the manager of the property Susan. On July 29th the keys were turned in to the office - check never was mentioned. In June of 2015, I went to lease an apartment and was turned down because of a judgement on my credit report. It is a judgement placed by Alder Ridge for 468.00. I went to the apartment and Susan said it was the court not her she didn't want a judgement. On August 20, 2013, Susan began eviction process against me and went to the courts. They were granted the property back but no monetary judgement. All the notification should had been sent to my mother Jennifer Walker as POA, she was never notified and due to federal law based on deployment the lease was no longer valid. For some reason Susan, sent the judgement to the credit bureaus for a monetary amount she was not awarded. We have attempted several times since June 2015 to resolve this issue and have it removed from my credit. Susan has continued to lie to us and give us the run around. This is keeping myself and my brother from obtaining an apartment and my mother from putting her house on the market. We have contacted the prior management company who owned the apartments at the time - Sun Chase states they cannot help. We have contacted the new management company and have not have a response to our phone calls. I served my country and continue to do so but cannot receive any help from any person.Desired Settlement: I would like this judgement removed from my credit report because this not a valid judgement gained against my credit. Per the Clerk of Courts there is no monetary judgement given and the eviction process should never have been initiated by Alder Ridge and the manager Susan.
