received from parents are important to the success of our organization. At the time every child is registered with the Childcare each parent is provided a copy of the Handbook and the policies are explained to them, including the financial terms. The parents are required to sign that they understand and agree to the terms.
The pertinent terms in the Handbook:
Page 1, paragraph 8 of the Parent Handbook states that a $100.00 deposit per child at the time of registration is required to hold a spot and goes towards first months fees.
Page 2, paragraph 2 of the Parent Handbook states that fees are due the first 5 working days of the month. Full monthly fees are still required and no rebates are given, if the child does not attend the full month. The terms and policies were explained to [redacted] and she signed the appropriate documentation.
No messages were left to call [redacted], a letter was mailed out the beginning of August stating what was owed and explaining our procedure.
Mrs. [redacted] was aware of the financial policies of the Childcare as evidenced by the signed registration. The terms of those policies have been applied in her case. As the appropriate fees were not paid according to the Handbook, the account was turned over to a collection agency for recovery of outstanding fees.
