The frustration experienced by Mr. [redacted] came about while we were attempting to improve our price communications with customers through our website. I was personally involved in this process which was an effort to transition from showing only the rebates that nearly everyone qualifies for, to...
showing all of the possible rebates that someone could qualify for. I personally spoke with Mr. [redacted] and offered my apologies, an explanation of what we were trying to accomplish, and listened to his perspective. As a result of that conversation, we have made some changes which we believe were positive.We object to and deny that we engaged in any unfair advertising or deceptive practices. All of the incentives were fully disclosed as well as language with respect to errors, omissions, and typographical errors. This is not to say that Mr. [redacted] was not justified in his frustration. In fact we have made some accommodations and he has since purchased a vehicle from us.
