Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/01/15) */
Mr*** requested our services to ship his commodity via an on-line websiteWe are a freight broker and state this in our Terms and Conditions and throughout our communicating with customersWe contract with *** ***
*** that actually move the commodityMr***'s shipment was damaged during shippingBy law the freight carrier that "tendered" the shipment is responsible for the damage claimWe have twice as many emails and phone calls trying to assist Mr*** in the claims processThere were discrepancies with the form's he filled out which we are trying to sort out for Mr***
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/01/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Central Transport the company they commissioned to move my shipment is stating that the claim should have originated through *** *** another of Aldin Inc shell companyIncluding *** shippingHowever I asked *** from Aldin to fill out and file the form so I can't imagine how it could be incorrectI'm left out of $1,and I get nothing but the runaround from this companyIt's clear I'm just getting a stalling tactic
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/01/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company is being disengenius in this statement they are aware that*** has refuse the claim because I have sent them the denial letter sent by Central transportThe reason for the the denial: *** ***, Aldin was suppose to fill out the forms and submitt them to Central instead they had me fill out the forms and Central has denied the claim For some reason *** *** shipping, IE Aldin is refusing to fill out the claim forms and submitt them to Central if they are not refusing thn they should just fill them out so this claim can be facilitatedThey're waiting for something that they know will never happenThis is both company's way of defrauding the customer y giving them the run around until they go away
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/01/29) */
Mr***'s pending claim is still under review with the freight carrier,***The claim was submitted through our companyUnfortunately, we cannot expedite the claims process of the carrier and must let it take it's courseWe have been in communication with Mr*** as well as*** throughout the process

This company has fraudulently charged my credit card 6 months after the original transaction. Luckily I have kept all my emails with them as proof. My original shipment was a business to business but the next day before any transactions occurred it changed from residential to business. I emailed them and they charged me $85 additional. I agreed to this and finally received the item. 6 months later I see they charged me $65 out of nowhere. Others have had similar experiences. It doesn't make a difference to me if you deal with this ripoff company but be warned. They will rip you off. This is not right. I contacted my credit card company and even provided them with proof. They reversed the charges. I will never do business with them AGAIN!

[redacted] contracted our shipping services via an on-line web service. We are a 3PL shipping broker that works with National and Regional LTL (Less than a Truckload) Carriers to move our customer's commodities.
In order to "quote" the...

rate of the shipment Mr. [redacted] agreed to provide size, weight, and accurate description of shipment. Throughout entire quote process we informed Mr. [redacted] that if any information regarding his shipment is false or inaccurate or if the Freight Carrier is required to provide additional services that were not on the original quote then he would be responsible for those new charges accessed by the Freight Carrier. Stated in both our Terms and Conditions and in our Credit Card Authorization Contract we clearly state that any inaccurate, or false information, or if additional accessorial services are required by the Freight Carrier that the Mr. [redacted] is responsible for those charges. Mr. [redacted] did sign this contract. Attached is supporting documentation that shows that Mr. [redacted] was accessed additional charges for inaccurate weight and limited access. Mr. [redacted] stated his shipment to weigh 900lbs but the Freight Carrier re-weighed the shipment to 1450 lbs, a 38% increase. Carriers "rate" a shipment by weight. This is the reason that Mr. [redacted] was accessed additional charges for his shipment. We communicated with him numerous times via email and phone to explain the charges and gave him the opportunity to dispute the Carriers findings with legitimate documentation regarding his claim. He never provided any documentation.

I rarely write reviews unless I have completely looked at what has happened and determined there was a large scale scam or a company has went above and beyond to do something good. Aldin Inc used the subname "1st class shipping" on u-ship to slightly cover the fact that they have terrible reviews in general under the Aldin Inc name. Long story short: with many phone calls and headaches about unanswered charges to deal with a simple shipment they agreed that I was correct and that they would cover charges they incurred doing a poor job lining up a sub-shipping company "[redacted] freight" then they charged my credit card a random $500 without calling or sending confirmation or anything. I called my credit card company who called their voice automated number that the credit card company has on file - dead end. I gave credit card company a number I found on the internet for them. credit card lady setup a 3 way call and told them the charge was being questioned. once aldin / 1st class realized money might be taken from them they acted as if they would look into the charge. No interest in finding out what happened to a frusterated customer until their money could be taken away. As a final note of frustration, our company is in excellent standing for credit so I will happily have the charge disputed unlike some people who are scared their credit history will be negatively impacted. I hope this company will go out of business so that less people will be negatively impacted by their charges and terrible customer service

I am here to share my negative experience of doing business with this company. Problem has not been settled and I am not sure if the company will realize that the problem arouse out of negligence of its personnel, but I would recommend anyone reading this review stay away from having anything to do with this irresponsible business.
For incomplete shipment of ordered goods the company charged the full amount and refuses to complete the shipment unless just as much money is paid. Driver's oversight that led to incomplete shipment is countered by the company by references to errors in accompanying documents.

My company has had a negative experience doing business with Aldin Inc. We were confronted with ignorance of the company's own oversights and our demands to somehow compensate for the unforeseen expenses that we had to incur as a result of carrying our a transaction with Aldin Inc. A driver of the company neglected pain attention to the bill of lading in which the exact number of items to be picked up was stated, which led to incomplete overseas shipment of oder. Now our company has to manage an additional trans-ocean shipment to ship the missing items. Representatives of Aldin Inc. refuse to see their mistake in this regard.
