Aldo's Foreign Cars, Inc.

Review: On July *, I took my car to Aldo's for a New York state inspection. [redacted], the [redacted] of Aldo & Sons, told me the car needed a new transmission and right axil. I asked [redacted] that if I bought the parts for my car would he install them. He said yes and the agreed upon price was $500 for the labor. That very same day, I purchased the transmission and it was delivered to the repair shop on July *. The following week on July *, my car was put on the lift, the old transmission was removed and my car has stayed in that position every since. The [redacted] that [redacted] assigned to my car has not returned to work from that day. [redacted] has told me that the guy needed medical attention for the removal of a cyst at the base of his spine (which [redacted] claims was done on Tuesday, July **) but he has not returned to work. My car is disassembled and suspended on a lift. Nothing is being done to fix my car. Since the time my car has been at Aldo & Sons, I have lost wages in work and I have had to rent a car.Desired Settlement: I would like Aldo & Sons to deliver my car to another [redacted] to complete the repairs at his expense. I am also deducting lost wages and car rental from the labor costs agreed upon with [redacted].
