Review: On July [redacted] 2015, I ordered a twin bed with mattress plus a love seat and chair for $900. The girl, Elizabeth, who works there kept pressuring me to put at least half of the amount which was $450 as deposit. At that time, I put $50 as deposit. They promised that the delivery would be on July [redacted]. On the day of the delivery, they called me and said the item was not in stock and that I'll have to go to the store again to order something else. I went again and ordered something else which they claimed was in stock.

The strange thing about their invoice receipt was that they didn't write any item number or the specifications of the furniture I had ordered, and when I wanted to take a picture of the item ordered from the catalogue with my phone, they stopped me from taking it.

Anyway, they again promised me a delivery on July [redacted], 2015. The truck arrived in the evening on that day with three men in it. What they said was the first I had heard in my life, which was that I had to pay the full amount to one of the men, who will take the money and leave, BEFORE I can even see what they brought in the boxes. I asked them how I can pay the full amount without even seeing what they brought. At that they put the girl Elizabeth on the phone (who speaks fluent English and seems to run the store) who threatened that if I didn't pay the full amount before the boxes are opened, then I'll lose my deposit and the men will take the furniture back.

So very reluctantly and under pressure I paid the full amount. One of the men took the money and drove away in the truck. The other two men opened the boxes and, lo and behold, just as I had feared and anticipated, they had brought the worst bed and the worst mattress ever. It was nothing that I had ordered and paid for. I really wanted to call the police on them for running such a scam.

I would request you to investigate such fraudulent business practices in our neighborhood like Alejandro Furniture who are scamming people like us out of their hard-earned money.

P.S. The address and phone number printed on their invoice is also not correctDesired Settlement: I would like to request a refund for the bed and mattress, which totalled $450.00.

Review: I purchased a computer desk with them on a Saturday because of the same day delivery guarantee. It was 6 pm and I should expect delivery between 8-12 midnight. And so I waited and waited, but nothing came. No calls either. I tried to call the store but they closed at 8. I went back to the store the following day and asked what happened. The guy said the driver didn't finish his delivery. And that thy don't deliver on a Sunday. I was disappointed most definitely because I I have already dismantled my old desk to make room for the new one, and now my new dual monitor computer are all sitting in my basement where it a flood is always a possibility when it rains. I asked if I can cancel my order so I could find something else from another store that is available right away. They said they would have to charge me 25% restocking fee. Shocked at the moment, I just asked when they could deliver. He said Monday between 4-9:30 pm guaranteed. Monday came and he called in the morning telling me that they don't have my item in stock and that I should go to the store to choose something else to replace my order. I said that it was not possible since I didn't like anything else that would suit my need when I was there. I said that I just want to cancel it if they don't have it. He insisted to charge the restocking fee. I said what is there to restock if they don't even have my order in stock. And this is where his story changed. They have it but all boxes are defective so they had to reorder it and deliver would come within 2 to 3 weeks. I said that was not what was agreed and I can't wait that long, and none of their shortcomings are my fault. The only choices he gave me was to change my order or pay the 25%. Is that fair at all?Desired Settlement: I just want a full refund of my payment since I never got the merchandise and none of their shortcomings was my fault at all.

Please note our store policies and regulations are pre-printed on all sales receipts referencing to lay aways, restocking fees, store credits, and any approved refunds. Our store is not responsible for any shipping delays and back orders. Since they are given to us by our manufactures. There are no cancellations on special orders. Our sales staffs are also trained to verbally explain the store policies and regulations to each consumer. Which [redacted] was verbally explained as well.

In this particular case [redacted] made the purchase of a special order ltem. She signed and agreed to the terms as you see enclosed. We tried several times that same evening to advise [redacted] that the particular desk she ordered is on back order with the manufacture for apparently 8 weeks, but was unsuccessful every time we called. [redacted] came Into the store the next business day and we verbally explained the back order Issue with the manufacture. We explained we have no control on backorders with the manufacture just as it's printed on our receipts. We always give the consumer the option to wait for the piece to come in, or they can reselect from any of our lOO's of items available.

[redacted] stated she would be in to reselect at another time. Now we receive a Revdex.com complaint from her end. We as a company have complied with all, in detail of our contracts. [redacted] still has the choice of waiting for the piece or reselecting to another piece that is available. We deal with over 100 manufactures with different styles, colors and prices. Due to this order being a special order, just as checked off on the day of the sale, It's Non-cancelable. No refund Is applicable on special orders. If still she decides not to proceed with the order, she will be charged a 20% restocking fee from the total amount of her sale.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

When I placed my order that day which was a Saturday, representative didn't explain anything as to what the company is claiming. All that he said was that the product was in stock and will be delivered the same day between 8 pm to 12 midnight - guaranteed. I patiently waited but no delivery came, not even a phone call. I went to the store the following day which was a Sunday to inquire what happened. The guy said that their delivery didn't finish that night. Although that was an unacceptable excuse, I asked if they can deliver that day. But he said they don't have deliveries on Sundays. It was a total inconvenience already because I told him before that I am only buying it because I needed it that Saturday - and he guaranteed the delivery which was supposedly a Saturday. When I asked if I could cancel due to their unfulfilled promise, this is the only time he declared about the 20% restocking fee. Not wanting to pay for something that was obviously not my fault, I told him to push through with the delivery. For the second time, he guaranteed me a Monday delivery. He then called back Monday morning, once, and not multiple times as what they claimed, and got my voice mail. He left a message saying that they don't have my product in stock and that I should go to the store to pick something else. First of all, it was a confirmed in stock when I purchased it. And all of a sudden, I was in circles. That same day (Monday), I went back to the store telling them that there is nothing else in that store that matches my needs. They insisted with the 20% restocking fee. As per inquiry, what is there to restock when they don't even have the product in stock. There was no delivery made for they don't have anything to deliver. And of course, they don't sign any papers showing that they guarantee their "guaranteed in stock and same day delivery promise."
