& Marine saying their boat broke down and they needed a boat as they were here on family vacation. They found a boat to purchase and then said the only way they would buy the boat is if we could have it ready "today." all of the employees got together to make this happen for the [redacted] family, as the normal time line to get a boat ready for customer is about a week. We wanted their family to enjoy their vacation. So we went above the call of duty for them and their family. The [redacted] informed me they could only tow One Boat back and asked if they would be able to leave the 1956 Alumacraft here till they could figure it out. I said they could and we could have Marine Mechanic look at it to see what was wrong. They also signed a Consignment statement with us just in case is was fixable / saleable. (See enclosed). The boat did not run at the time which is why they were looking for a new one. On Wednesday the 23rd of August, [redacted] was contacted by the owner ([redacted]), before knowing of a complaint with the Revdex.com. I was contacting because of an outstanding balance on the boat. [redacted] agreed to pay and pick up the Alumacraft on labor day weekend. Discussed options of trading and consignment at the time of the purchase. Neither worked out because of major mechanical problems. It did not seem to be a huge problem, but [redacted] wanted the boat gone. I do not believe this is a Revdex.com situation and it was never brought up in conversation. Sorry,[redacted]
