To Whom It May Concern:
sans-serif;">Mrs. [redacted] came to my shop with a 2001 [redacted] cavalier on march 12, 2015 She tell me  something was wrong with her car, she also tell me the car was over heating, at the moment I didn’t have time to check it out, but she agreed to leave it in my shop for a later inspection. I check the car for possible leaking I also check the radiator as well as any leaks around the water pump, but it wasn’t no leaks or nothing wrong, but the temperature it was going high, when I check the engine and when I open the oil cap  a lot of pressure came out from inside the engine and the cap it was  having waste of  oil mix with antifreeze, I proceed to do a complete inspection on the engine heads, that led me to the diagnosis that she need to do a complete heads job on her car. I call her and let her know the she need to come to the shop to talk about her car that I was done with the inspection and her car was having a major problem, she come to the shop and I explain to her what was wrong with the car and what we need to do in order to fix it, I tell her that if she desire to fix it we will have to send the heads to the machine shop because I don’t do that type of job,  I also talk to her about how much the machine shop charge for the job plus my labor and plus other parts the we need to get and order to get the car fix. She tell me that she didn’t have the money, that it was too much for her, in which decides to give her a discount and we agreed that I will do the job for the price of $850.00 total. She agreed and I send the head to the machine shop. On April 4 the car was ready so I called her to come and get it, when she came she checked the car everything it was working and running perfect, it wasn’t overheating, there was no problem at all. Two or may be Three days after she take the car she called me because her check engine  light come on and I tell her to bring the car to check it out. The next day she came and I check the car and I also connect the scanner with no extra charge to make sure why the light was on, after the inspection I explain to her that it was some waste of antifreeze in the catalytic converter for that reason the censors were not responding but are she drives the car for a couple days the waste will get burn and the light will turn off by itself after all the sensors are programmed and I tell her that if after a week the light still on bring it back. She call me three days after and tell me that her car check engine  light was off and her car was running great, she was very happy with the job and she say thank you very much to me that was the last time I spoke to her. I don’t remember the exact day, but probably two weeks ago she call me to tell me that her car is was having the same problem and she wants me to fix it, and I explain to her again the warranty was only for 90 days. But if you want to bring it in ahead may be its something else, she told me I will drive by, but she never did, I didn’t hear nothing from her until this Tuesday may 10, 2016 when I received a letter that she made a complaint on me. This is my details of what happen with this customer, I  want to clear this problem because I been in this business as a mechanic for 25 years, I have a lot of customers and I never have a problem like this before I’m a very respectful person and I like to respect my customer especially if it is a woman, I will never disrespect one of my customer saying the my computer cost  more than a car, that don even make sense to me, I don’t understand why this person is doing this but if she said that her car was never fix then why she wait one year to call me why she never bring the car back especially when she knows  her warranty  was only for 90 days. She said she took the car for a second opinion, well I don’t know where she took it but all mechanics should know that when you have a head problem with a car and the job was not done properly the car would have never ran or stopped over heating for a whole year and most likely the engine will break down. Review: I took my car for mechanic repair to this car shop they charge me $850 saying that everything was fixed. But I felt that something was wrong with my car. I went back to check it again before the 90 days warranty expire. They din't care any more to help me and see what the real problems was with my car at that time. The guy told me that his mechanic" computer cost more than my car".. to re check it. My car still having problems I feel that nothing was done at that time and I paid them. I had an second opinion with an other mechanic and and they said the same problem still there but more worse now.Desired Settlement: I would like to this business to be contact with the Business Bureau for my full refund because I paid them in full. They din't had a good customer service.
