I hired [redacted] on March 12th to do repair work on my roof I gave him a $down payment After one month he hadn't started the work I contacted him April 7th to inquire April 26th he still had not started By May 3rd, he hadn't started so I fired him and asked for my money back He said he did not have it and that he bought the material already The job was not a tear-off It was going to involve patchwork and possibly replacing some shingles but the roof was in decent shape He explained that he would give me the material I agreed and said that a receipt should accompany the material It is May 18th and I have not received any material or money back I told him twice within the last two weeks that he needs to give me my money/materials and that if he didn't agree, I would want any court/legal fees associated with me getting my money back He has stopped answering my texts/calls I have not paid any legal fees but tomorrow I have a meeting with my attorney--t
