We happily provide a year, 36,mile warranty on all of our repairs. If there were any issues with repairs the customer is welcome to contact us and schedule an appointment for us to look at the vehicle. This is the first we have heard of issues with the repairs.We were asked to
inspect the car and determine what it needed to get it running in August and completed in October of (lead time due to parts availability). If there are issues that just presented themselves there could have been additional items that needed attention. Any repairs we did would be covered under warranty, but it does require the customer to contact us to look at them. We are more than happy to take a look at the Beetle to review our repairs. In order to get the car running we replaced the carburetor and fuel filters. If the fuel filters are already clogged after months there may be other issues with the fuel system that need to be addressed. In addition corrected some items with the brake system included cracked brake lines, leaking wheel cylinders and a back master cylinder. An aftermarket windshield washer system was installed in order to pass safety inspection. Advisements and declined services included rotting tires, advised brakes were at 3mm front and rear, needed diagnosis time for lighting issues, and that the left front shock tower was almost rusted through.I am unclear what diagnostic reports the customer is wanting to see as this hour of time billed (which more time was spent on it than the billed time) was to determine the issues with the fueling system, brake system, and items needed to pass safety inspection.Again, I reiterate. If the customer would like to schedule a time to bring the car in to make adjustments or to review repairs we are more than happy to get him taken care of. We have never declined to stand behind our repairs, and it is difficult to know what is going on months later on a vehicle we worked on, especially considering it was made in
